Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. Create Your Own Hammered Silver Jewelry!

Join Beth, a talented instructor with a wealth of experience and creativity, as she guides you through the process of making your very own hammered silver jewelry. Get ready to hammer, shape, and shine your way to a beautiful piece you’ll be proud to wear - or gift! Choose your project: earrings, pendants, or a ring - make it personal, make it shine! Please bring a hand towel to work on and any jewelry tools you already have.

A materials fee of $10 due to the instructor at the start of the class. Beth will also have additional jewelry kits available for purchase.

This quilt uses hexagons to form the kaleidoscope pattern without having any Y seams. Using 6 identical panels, strips are cut and then sub-cut into triangles. Choosing a panel that has several different colors works best. This is a fun and interesting technique. Finished quilt dimensions - 68” x 79”. 

Materials and Tools Requirements:
• 6 identical fabric panels at least 24” x 43”
• Coordinating fabrics for border - - Inner border 1 yard
• Outer border 1.25 yards
• Minimum 5” Equilateral 60 degree triangle ruler
• Rotary cutter with new blade

All are welcome to this six week class of chess! No prior knowledge of chess is needed, but even experienced players will have fun.

For beginners starting their chess journey, the class will focus on the basic rules of chess, developing playing skills, and introducing strategic concepts that will build to playing full games of chess. For experienced chess players already on the journey, the classes will help refine playing skills. Learn and play the game of Kings!

Gel Plate Printing is a dynamic and fun way to express yourself through creating monoprints on a soft, pliable gel plate.  Each one-of-a-kind print is as individual as the person creating it and requires no prior art skills to do. In class you will learn what gel plate printing is, how to do it using several different techniques, and be provided with the materials needed to create a variety of prints. 

This class is so much fun & expected to fill up fast so sign up early!

Frustrating to gardeners and arborists, bittersweet is considered a largely useless bane on wildland. Wouldn’t it be nice if it were good for something? We can use ancient harvesting techniques to tend invasive bittersweet in the wild, simultaneously harvesting material for baskets while managing future growth.

Learn to weave a bittersweet basket. We'll employ several different weaving techniques in order to create a strong, beautiful basket for foraging, or use in the kitchen or garden. We’ll shoot for a basket about 9” wide and 7” deep, with or without a handle. This is a class for beginners, but some hand strength and dexterity is required.
