Fly Fishing Canoe Adventure
with Colonel J.R. Mosher, United Technologies Center - Adult Education
This four-week (two hours per week) course is designed to enable 20 students to catch Maine native fish using fly rods and flies they have tied, while negotiating the Kennebec River in their own canoe. Course includes: basic fly tying, fly casting for river fishing, preparing native fish for meals, introduction to the canoe, river canoeing practical exercise, and a team Kennebec fishing adventure. Experience the flavors of Boston’s Chinatown with cooking instructor Chris Toy! Enjoy a guided tour of Chinatown and explore the traditions, customs, and history of Chinese culture in Boston. Savor traditional Chinese Dim Sum at one of Chinatown’s oldest restaurants, where Chris and his family have been dining since before he could speak English! Don’t miss out on the action at the 40th Annual Boston Dragon Boat Festival on the Charles River! Get ready for dragon boat races, traditional arts and crafts, cultural performances and vendors, and the authentic flavors of Chinese culture! Make the most of your day in the city with international flavor! Transportation is included in the cost of the trip and will be provided by Amtrak and MBTA. Meals are not included in the cost of the trip, so please plan accordingly. Please dress appropriately for the weather; bring layers and comfortable walking shoes. Please bring snacks and a water bottle, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure!

Advanced Beginning German

PLEASE NOTE: NEW START DATE. This course is a continuation from last semester. Previous experience necessary or teacher approval. Form a strong base in conversational German as all aspects of the language, its dialect and culture are explored through books, music and group discussions. Pronunciation and grammar will be emphasized and practiced with writing, speaking, reading, and listening.

If so, come join Jen and Lynne and learn about the ins and outs of Airbnb.They jumped into the world of Airbnb last spring, earned their SuperHost status by the end of the summer and would love to share their positive experiences and help you navigate successfully in creating your online Airbnb site. They learned so much and have lots of helpful tips to share! Snow date is scheduled for 2/28.
America's Boating Course
