Hola! Spanish is one of the world’s most popular languages. This class is for students who may have plans to travel to a Spanish-speaking country. You’re meeting your son’s fiancé from Madrid, or ordering at a Peruvian restaurant. Learn to understand others and express yourself from day one: Role-play intros and greetings, ask directions, request travel assistance, barter at the market and practice typical dialogues and circumstances you might encounter. Gain travel insights about customs, etiquette and culture.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum / Boston's North End

When Isabella created her museum, she wanted it to be “for the education and enjoyment of the public forever.” Join cooking instructor and guide Chris Toy, as he takes you to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Isabella’s decades long collecting resulted in the acquisition of more than 7500 paintings, many from Medieval and Renaissance masters, sculptures, furniture, textiles, ceramics, silver, rare books and many other archival objects collected from around the world. Along with the museum tour, Chis will take you to the North End to explore it’s eateries and shops. The trip includes transportation via Amtrak and subways. Wear comfortable shoes for this walking tour.
Train departs Brunswick Station at 7:25 am and returns from Boston’s North End Station 4:45 pm. We will get back to Brunswick around 8 PM. No refunds.
Cost does not include meals, but does include transportation via Amtrak, a Charlie Card for the subway, admissions to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and docent tour, plus your trip guide Chris Toy.

You will receive hands on learning with classroom time spent both in and outdoor for scenarios and learning practices. A great option for people wishing to travel to Spanish speaking countries. The book will be the same used in the basic course. A quick review of the basic course will also be included. No class 04/21/20 or 05/12/20; makeup class (if needed) 06/16/20.
