Spanish Made Simple
with Carlos Rosales, RSU 24 Adult Education

This Spanish course is perfect for beginners or for those who have taken Spanish before but have forgotten most of it. Learn to speak and understand Spanish quickly and easily.
The course helps you build a foundation by presenting interesting conversations followed by progressive grammar lessons and exercises. It is a slow to medium pace course. Textbook included.
Open to beginners and those who wish to refresh their Spanish skills. No class the week of 4/21.
Carlos Rosales is a native speaker from Latinoamérica and works with the farm working community in Downeast Maine. He has lived in Maine for 19 years and earned his bachelor's degree in Applied Science from the University of Maine at Augusta. Carlos enjoys sharing and teaching his native language with others.

Sebago Lake Kayak Lesson and Historic Tour
with Sebago Trails Paddling, Windham/Raymond Adult Education

Join the Registered Maine Guides at Sebago Trails for an on the water adventure. This two hour course will begin with a safety briefing and lesson covering the fundamentals of recreational kayaking. Using the EZ launching system at Sebago Trails Paddling, the tour will explore the water-carved bends and twists of a meandering stream unveiling local wildlife in a rustic backdrop. Then continue onto Jordan Bay of Sebago Lake as the guides share stories dating back to the settlements of the region. Come for the beautiful lake views and leave with your new favorite hobby! This is a great experience for anyone looking to get outdoors. Perfect for first time kayakers and experienced kayaking enthusiasts. Sebago Trails Paddling will provide: Kayak, Paddle, Lifejacket.

What: Come join us for this fire, ice, and sustainability adventure in Iceland and explore how photography canchange how you see the world. You will reconnect withnature while experiencing some of the most inspiring landscapes and sustainable practices in the world today.You will stay at one of the world’s oldest ecovillages, visitstunning waterfalls and volcanoes, explore an Icelandicfarm with sheep and horses, tour a geothermal power plant,visit a traditional Icelandic turf house and farm, andtransform your photography from simply taking pictures tomaking photographs that tell a story of who you are. You will sample traditional Icelandic food, learn about Iceland’sViking history and about the culture and geography thathave shaped who Icelanders are today. And finally, you willbe invited to craft an action plan for growing what you have learned when you return home.
