Photoshop - Independent Study & Projects
with Lynn Perry, RSU 54/MSAD 54 Adult and Community Education
Photoshop students from the Adult Education Photoshop II class will continue this fall in a ten-week, “Photoshop Independent Study and Projects” format. Students who have studied together for several semesters will meet to continue their projects: photo enhancement for lighting, color and size; adding artistic elements with filters, text and framing. Other who have been using Photoshop Elements or Photoshop are welcome to join the group for project support. The goal of this independent study is to create a place for group sharing, support and experimentation, but not for traditional instruction. The class will not meet on October 14 (Columbus Day), November 11th (Veteran's Day) and November 25th (Thanksgiving Break).

This is not a beginner’s class. It is for those who have painted in the past or present and would like to join others who love to share their love of painting. Painters are encouraged to use any medium they might choose. Marilyn uses oils and watercolors mostly, but if you prefer another kind, that is fine also. We would love to have you join us!
A few words from Marilyn – I am not a teacher; have only had a few lessons myself. But…Many years ago while walking on a beach in Florida, I dreamed up the idea of having a class at Skowhegan Adult Ed for those who might love to paint as much as I do. I went to the Skowhegan Adult Ed office and made a deal with them; that if they would let me have a room once a week for such an idea (and since I’m not a teacher) I shouldn’t be paid. It is such a blessing and I have found some wonderful friends, many of whom can paint much better than I can.
