The Academy of Medical Professions is a licensed Proprietary School certified in Maine. This school began in 1996 in Topsham, Maine as Transcription Associates, Inc. School of Medical Transcription and is still certified by the Maine State Department of Education and has since established ourselves with the Adult Education Systems in Maine with great success. We now offer classes through SMCC.
We are proud to offer complete correspondence/online courses with all our lectures provided through streaming audio or watch our recorded live classes at your leisure. An instructor is assigned to you for assistance through the program as well as grading of papers and assigning work. This allows those students who cannot attend classes to get the feel of the classroom participation.
We have achieved a great success in placing our graduates. Although we do not guarantee jobs, we will teach how to get them, where they are, what you can expect for pay, what your resume should look like, and will forward e-mails and phone calls to you as we hear of jobs.

Leavitt BOYS Summer Soccer
with Wendy Milliken, MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education

Come have fun this summer playing soccer and improving your skills for the upcoming fall season. This summer we will play local teams on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with occasional week mornings for workouts to gain strength and conditioning.
PLEASE NOTE: Depending on vacations, work schedules and the number of participants that register, there might be two separate teams formed to minimize the number of players on the bench.
WHAT THIS MEANS: Some weeks we might have availability of your child to play both nights if players numbers are low in availability. BUT if we have 40 players all interested in playing that week, I will be splitting the boys so we have more playing time and less bench time. Everyone is guaranteed to play at least one game a week with the possibility of two. They will also be on a rotation so all players will get equal opportunities.
We will begin on June 17th and end August 7th.
Summer is a time for family vacations also so we understand you might need to miss some time. Please just give coach Milliken a heads up of your plans.
