Virtual Book Nook
with Shila Cook, Gorham Adult Education
Come join me, Shila Cook, for Gorham Adult Education’s first ever virtual book club! This nine week book club will read three texts and meet four times. The first time we ‘meet’ we will be getting to know each other, discussing our opinions of the texts on first glance, and going over how the other three meetings will go. What better way to enjoy the kind of easy connection that only books can create, then from the virtual comfort of our own homes? The cost of the course includes the first text (making sure that each of us has the same copy, making it easier to discuss), and will be shipped to you. So the big question, what are we going to be reading? That is up to the club. Once you register you will receive an email from me asking you to pick your top 5 choices, and we will be reading the three that get the most votes!
When: 1st meeting: Thursday July 9nd; 2nd meeting: Thursday July 23; 3rd meeting: Thursday August 13; 4th meeting: Thursday September 3
Materials Needed: Computer, tablet, or phone with wifi access.
