3-D Ink: Resin Ink Frames

with Tara Finlay, Sanford Community Adult Education

Calendar Jul 17, 2019 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

With this exciting process, you never know how it is going to turn out until the resin is cured and you can turn the frame over to see the striking results. Learn how to prepare frames, mix and pour 2-part epoxy resin, and then use a special technique to create designs in the resin with the inks. If you have ever seen a glass paper weight with colored class ribbons inside, this technique is reminiscent of that. If you are sensitive you may need to purchase a respirator mask but the area we will be working in is well-ventilated and most people don't notice a scent. Kit fee $30 payable to instructor at class.    18+ only due to working with the resin.  Student will have to come back to pick up their piece.
