Escape the summer heat and join a welcoming community of knitters for a fun and relaxed evening of creativity and connection!

This class is open to all skill levels—from complete beginners to those looking to refresh their skills—and creates a supportive space where knitters can learn from one another while sharing their passion for the craft. Beginners will learn how to cast on, master the knit and purl stitches, build confidence reading patterns, and pick up helpful tips for fixing common mistakes. More experienced knitters are encouraged to share ideas, support fellow makers, and enjoy time spent stitching together in good company.

Instructor Vicky brings years of knitting experience and knowledge, along with enthusiasm, encouragement, and a lighthearted approach that makes every class enjoyable and welcoming for all.

Materials to bring to class: 
• Size 7 Knitting Needles
• 1 pair of small scissors
• Tape measure
• 1 light color Supersaver Red Heart Yarn (7 Ounces)

Plein-Air Painting the Landscape: Excursion at Reid State Park

Our nation’s state courts see more than 100 million cases of victimization each year, and crime can have a devastating impact on those involved. Our intensive Victim Advocacy Certificate Course is designed to train and qualify you to provide assistance to crime victims. Course topics include legal terminology, legal process, legislation regarding victims rights, jurisdiction and venue, ethics, effects of victimization on the victim, victim advocate skills, guardianships, and crisis intervention. Also covered are counseling skills for victims of assault, battery, robbery, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, murder, and homicide.

Vicky is a passionate knitter and always makes classes fun for her students.

How to Find Signs from Departed Loved Ones

Holidays are times when spirits of loved ones give us messages. In this class you'll learn some signs to look for from your loved ones. To understand what happens after death and how to recognize communications from spirits of loved ones, this is a class for you. Learn what blocks messages and hear true encounters from others. By the end of the talk, you'll know what to look for. 

Sewing & Quilt Weekends

Finish those UFOs (aka unfinished objects) or start a new one. Pick up helpful tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home with over five hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged, and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied.

Space is limited to 16 people so be sure to register early! 


Class times are as follows: 
Friday: 5pm-8:30pm
Saturday: 9am-3pm
