To enroll in enrichment classes, participants must be at least 18 years old and not enrolled in school.

Fruit tree enthusiasts all know it has always been a tradition to prune your fruit trees on the warm spring day, we will show you that you can also prune in the fall. If you have a tree that has been neglected and want to reinvigorate it but are not sure how to properly prune your tree, then this class is for you. This class will cover how to prune a fruit tree, what to look for and then we will have a demonstration.

As of January 2017 bow hunters need to hold an Archery license, and you will need to present your course certificate when you buy your license. Therefore the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will offer this course, which covers laws, safety, equipment, ethics, map and compass reading, survival, first aid, and landowner relations. There will be homework, you must attend all class time, and pass the written test at the end of class in order to get your certificate. A parent or guardian must accompany students between 10 and 17 years of age. Please bring a notebook, pen/pencil, and backpack/shopping bag for your books. Limit 40 students.

Monday, 5:45-9:00 p.m., Sept. 9, and Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Sept. 22 (2 sessions)

Learn about the healing properties of essentials oils, make an aromatherapy holiday scented spray for all sorts of uses and create a moisturizing lip balm. Oils include a wide variety to calm, heal, energize, de-stress, help with chronic pain, uplift mood, cleanse, inspire, purify, balance and more.  A $5 materials fee is payable to instructor in class.
