This is a CNA Class with Classes & Labs Delivered in person.
Clinicals will be held at approved facilities. Exact dates and times will be on the class schedule.
Become a CNA through our training program at Region Two School of Applied Technology & Summit.
Class Times: 10am~1pm (Every other day as per class schedule)
Successful graduates will be certified for employment in state-approved health care institutions through the State of Maine and will be placed on the Maine Board of Nursing Registry.

Information and registration papers are available at our office which is located in the Summit building on 56 Military St. We are in the lower level with the main entrance off the parking lot at the back of the building.
Orientation will be at Adult Ed on 56 Main St. in Houlton, Maine from 8am to 10am.
Ceramics Open Studio
with CYNTHIA PLAISTED, Noble Adult & Community Education

Come join us as we explore the wonders of clay! You will develop and use it to create unique pieces of your own design through a variety of techniques. You will be encouraged to try the manual and electric wheels, roller, carving tools, and beautiful glazes to bring the pieces you imagine to life. Beginners to experts welcome.
Class scheduled as follows;
Classes 1-4: For creation
Class 5: Prepping pieces for firing
Class 6: Glazing pieces
Clay and glaze cost is $45 due to the instructor at the first class.
There is a max of 15 students per session.

Zumba - 6 Week

Zumba - Fitness and Fun Dance is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. Maribel mixes both low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. Students of all experience levels are welcome in this class, and Maribel will help show students both low and high impact dance moves to fit students' class goals/abilities. If you’re looking for a no-pressure fitness class that brings lots of fun and energy, then this class is for you!
Bring a water bottle; wear comfortable clothes and indoor shoes with little to no tread to reduce twisting knee joints.

Learn to Play the Ukulele!

The ukulele has never been more popular, and you don't even have to know how to read music! On the uke you can knock out folk music, rock, blues, jazz, pop, and country tunes old and new -- even classical music.
Join instructor Duncan Perry on ZOOM, who has taught more than 700 students of all ages, and who will introduce you to essential chords and playing techniques using commonly known songs. Oh, and there are lots of laughs along the way. And, learning to play an instrument is good for your brain! You will need a playable ukulele and an electronic tuner or a tuner app. And when folks hear you play this happy instrument, well, they just have to smile! What are you waiting for? Grab a uke and get ready for a musical adventure, then spread the joy!

Photography for a Beginner

Join us for an exciting and engaging Beginners Photography Class at SAD 1, held every Tuesday night from 6 PM to 8 PM! This class is designed for those who want to explore the art of photography, whether you're a complete novice or looking to sharpen your skills.
Throughout the course, we will delve into various photography styles, focusing on landscapes and macro/close-up photography. You'll learn how to look at the world through a photographer's eye, discovering the beauty in everyday scenes and intricate details.
