Peace through Meditation

with Roberta Barnes, RSU#12 Adult Education

Mar 9, 2017 at 6 pm, runs for 8 weeks

Harmonious people have the greatest freedom from disease. Stress can bring on many health challenges and in meditation you are in a stress free zone.  In the stillness beneath your thoughts, doubt does not exist and you can walk between the raindrops. Among Roberta Barnes’ Shihans (teachers) is a Japanese Buddhist monk, enabling her to introduce you to various methods of meditation.  Roberta teaches both beginners and those wanting to expand their meditation, so in-class meditations fit with the students by varying in length, with and without music, and may include guided meditations. Roberta first learned to meditate at a very young age and studied in both the USA and Canada. She is a speaker, author, produced the guided meditation CD “Finding your solutions”, and is Gendai Reiki HO and Komyo Reiki Kai Shihan.
