If you’re from Maine, you’ve probably heard of needhams - a traditional sweet, covered in chocolate, with a soft coconut and POTATO center! Learn how to make this sweet Maine confection, just in time for the Easter holiday. A supply fee of $6.00 is payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class. Students should bring a flat, 1-pint container to take their treats home.

What better way to take care of yourself or a loved one than creating your aromatherapy care package?  From bath salts, pillow sprays, bath bombs, and tea blends, there is something for everyone, and these make-and-takes are a great way to create your own spa experience from the comfort of your own home.  

Need help getting to sleep or just want a pleasant all-natural room spray?  Learn how in this class.  Calm your mind and body with a blend that will help you relax and promote a night of better sleep.  By using a pillow spray regularly before bed, your brain puts the scent alongside sleeping and resting.

Materials fee of $8 (CASH) for the instructor to pay for materials.

Materials to bring: a glass measuring cup (at least 2 cups) plus a spatula or spoon for stirring.

This class is individual and is a series of classes for the Bundle Package which Saves $20.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a practice of conscious relaxation, using props in every posture to support your muscles in gentle, comfortable positions. There are NO Downward Facing Dog and Cobra that are the keystones of other popular yoga styles. Basic relaxation is the mainstay of a restorative yoga practice. Poses include gentle supine twists, supported forward folds, gentle reclining backbends and hip openers. The poses are held for anywhere from 3 to 30 min giving your body plenty of time to relax so that your mind can enter a quiet, meditative state. NO YOGA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Destress before your weekend activities. Blocks and bolsters provided. Please bring a mat, blankets and any other props.

WHO IS A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN?

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be helping the Licensed Pharmacist with all the necessary day-to-day services that the Pharmacy provides. Everything from preparing medications to answering phones, receiving and verifying prescriptions, counting tablets, taking requests for refilling of medications, and much more.  You are an assistant to the pharmacist.

Registration for this class is free, meaning there is no fee to sign up for the course.

However, once registered, there is a cost of $2,850 to enroll in the class itself.

This is an online course.  This class can also be started at anytime.

Your registration doesn't secure your spot in the class.  Your registration details are necessary for SCAE to forward to American Medical Professionals.  Payments go directly to American Medical Professionals.  They offer multiple payment methods.

After signing up for the class, you'll receive a packet to fill out and send directly to American Medical Professionals.

Once you have filled out the paperwork and the information requested, Academy of Medical Professionals will reach out to you to complete your registration process.

All-inclusive 14-233k program.  This program has two options: entirely online or our new live via Zoom class that meets each term.  Pharmacy technician is one of the fastest-growing jobs in health care today.  In this course, you will learn everything from the role of the technician in the pharmacy setting to the basic sciences at the core of pharmacy practice to prepare for the PTCB exam.  You will learn complete drug information that includes proper name, spelling and pronunciation, drug class, generic and trade name, route of administration, dosage, and more of hundreds of drugs  You will be able to identify pills on sight with pill photos, gain a better understanding of how certain drugs work within the body with a concise review of relevant anatomy and physiology, and stay up to date with innovative pharmacy practice with the latest information on new drugs, regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and safety procedures. 

$2,850  This Certificate program includes all course materials and PTCB National Certification (CPhT) Exam fee.

Finish those UFOs (aka unfinished objects) or start a new one. Pick up helpful tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home with over five hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged, and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied.

Space is limited to 14 people so be sure to register early!
