Jo-Ann will answer your questions including what Medicare does and does NOT cover when to enroll, the difference between MedicareAdvantage and Medicare Supplement Plans, and which plan is best for you. Following the presentation, Jo-Ann will be available for a question and answer session. Jo-Ann Neal of Allen Insurance and Financial is a licensed insurance agent specializing in Medicare. Jo-Ann joined Allen Insurance and Financial in May 2013, bringing with her 10+ years of human resources and benefits administration experience. In 2016, she earned a Benefits Account Manager certification from the National Association of Health Insurance Underwriters and became appointed to work with customers on Medicare plans.

Learn a new cuisine as you join Togo native Jordan Benissan as he teaches you how to cook dishes from West Africa. Among the dishes you may be preparing are West African Chicken in Peanut Sauce, Jollof Rice (West African Paella), Gusi Dessi (Spinach, kale, and collard greens, cooked with melon seeds, cooked in a reduced tomato sauce; served with white rice), and West African tapioca pudding cooked in lemongrass broth with choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Registration fee includes all ingredients.

How to Cast a Fly Rod: The First Step in Learning to Fly Fish | Multiple Sessions Available!

Learn the fundamentals of casting on a one-to-one basis from a Fly Fishers International Certified Casting Instructor. Beginners to advanced casters are welcome. Learn how to do a basic cast, a roll cast, false casting, mending line, casting accuracy, casting in wind, and other techniques suited for your skill level. Limit 6 Students. 

This class will be held OUTDOORS on the Waterville Senior High School campus. Bring a 4-7 wt. fly rod with a floating line. Please also bring a hat and sunglasses to protect your head and your eyes. Instructor will provide leader with practice fly that will be attached to your fly line. DRESS FOR OUTDOOR PRACTICE. Dates of class can be flexible if weather conditions prevent a class.

Braiding circles is a community gathering workshop focused on braiding a three-strand braid from synthetic hair while conversing about fractured identity, experiences, and belonging. For artist Veronica Perez, it started as a way to create more braids for their larger sculptures but turned into a place for honest and open conversation. The circles came about through the need to create a space for open community conversation and the need to work toward the goal of communal healing through storytelling and braiding. Join us for this special event! All materials included.
