Gourd Bowl with Pine Needle Rim

Make a gourd basket. Perfect for a gift or to keep for yourself.  Gourds will be pre-cut. Students will need to clean gourds, sand, and drill holes. Then we will sew white pine needles to the rim. We will be able to pick from a number of stains to finish the gourds. Gourds are around 4-5” in diameter.  During this class, we will also go over the basics of making pine needle baskets.  This is another great class to learn a skill for life.

Card Making - Stamp a Stack I & II

Students will create five different assorted sentiment cards with materials ready for you to stamp and assemble. Work your way through each station at your own pace, creating two of each for a total of 10 cards with envelopes.

A fun and easy craft project to enjoy! They are just like Peeps but in ceramic form! Ready to Paint ceramic bisque Bunny Peeps is a fun DIY project.  No ceramic kiln firing required.  Join us as we paint these adorable bunnies and then spray them with acrylic spray. 

You will get 4 bunnies to paint during this class.

Embroidery Personal Best

This course is designed to present a strong vocabulary of embroidery stitches, with particular attention to the beauty and function of each stitch. You will learn successful, simple practices that insure (and improve) beautiful, and secure, stitching. The instructor will be responsive to participant's requests for specific stitches and skills, giving support to individual styles and aesthetics. The instructor will provide class materials; individual supplies will also be welcome. Open to all skill levels. Materials fee of $5 included in registration. Class skips 4/17.

Felting for Beginners

Come and explore the world of needle felting, where there are no limits to your imagination and what you can create. We will cover the basics of making foundational and core shapes, as well as where to buy wool and supplies. You will leave class with a small felted gnome what you have created, along with the tools to continue at home. Join us and see why most people become instantly hooked on sculpting with wool! Instructor Anne Tripp is an avid crafter and has experience with embroidery, jewelry-making, fiber arts, and more. She sells her felted creations locally.

Soap Making

Learn how to make your own soap with the melt and pour method! In this one-night class, Beth will show you how you can make your very own homemade soap using essential oils. She will show you how to mix combinations of oils to make unique aromas that you enjoy, or make some for a loved one as a nice holiday gift! Please bring a microwaveable glass measuring cup and bowl. If you want your soap to be in a specific shape, you can bring your own silicone mould to pour the soap into! (Please note once you use these moulds for soap, you should not use them for cooking).

Materials fee: $7 payable to the instructor, with the option to purchase additional materials.

Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience, where you'll not only acquire new skills but also relish the opportunity to indulge in our delightful array of homemade treats.

Students will walk away with samples of each item created.
