Is your closet full of black-colored clothing? Would you like to learn what other colors look good on you? In this fun interactive class, you'll be draped in a variety of colors to learn about warmer and cooler tones to determine what types of colors look best on you. You'll also receive recommendations for eye shadows, blush and lipsticks, along with sunglasses colors and jewelry metals to flatter your coloring!! Please wear a lower neckline to class. If you have had flat or tough dry scones this might be just the class you have been waiting for. Deb will show you step by step how to make light and tender Chocolate Cherry Scones, Apricot Ginger Scones and Bacon, Cheddar, Chive Scones as well as classic Basic Scones. This class will be participatory and samples of all items will be tasted and the rest divided among the class. Soooo...get a friend to sign up with you and enjoy the evening! Remember to bring a container to store all that you will take home. Class size limited to 10. All materials included.

Come share your experiences, struggles, and successes in a supportive environment and explore ways to break through barriers or amp up your practice to get yourself to the next level. Topics of discussion may include but are not limited to: self-healing techniques, suggested reading, meditation, journaling, self-compassion, self-reflection, creative pursuits, and more.

Finish those UFOs (aka unfinished objects) or start a new one. Pick up helpful tips from fellow stitchers and make new friends! Escape those constant interruptions at home with over five hours of sewing and camaraderie. Show and tell is encouraged, and no one is too new to join in the fun! Bring handwork or your sewing machine and supplies. Iron, ironing board, cutting mats and rulers supplied.

Space is limited to 16 people so be sure to register early!

Illustrating the Maine Coast with Watercolor and Ink

Illustrate Maine’s beautiful coastline with pen and ink and watercolor. This all-levels class begins with studio time to learn techniques, then heads outside to the Maine coast to capture the landscape. The process will be broken down into simple steps, and everyone will leave with their own unique study of the coastline. In the event of inclement weather, the workshop will be held inside. Students must plan to drive themselves to the second location. Students can purchase materials to use during the class for $23, or buy themselves the required materials - the materials list is linked here. Pre-made material kits are available from the Mix, an art store in Brunswick (here is a link to a student-grade kit, and here is a link to an artist-grade kit). Candle Dipping

Come spend a relaxing Saturday morning making beautiful beeswax candles. We will be hand-dipping taper candles of your chosen shape and color design. Join us for this slow yet oh-so rewarding traditional craft! A $10 materials fee, payable to the instructor, must be paid the night of class.
