LEGO Robotics workshops are a fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of robotics and programming! This session is for beginner LEGO Roboteer families (1 adult and 1 or 2 kids aged 9-12). Explore robotics concepts using the LEGO robotics platform. Campers use “Scratch”-style block coding to guide their LEGO robots through various missions, while learning how to use sensors to help their robots navigate challenges and obstacles. Through building and modifying their robots to complete missions, campers learn problem-solving skills that help them become independent STEAM-thinkers!

Using glutinous rice flour, you’ll make the smooth, chewy “snow skin” and fill it with sweet lotus paste, red bean, or fruit flavors before molding them into beautiful designs. Learn about the cultural stories behind the mooncake while enjoying a creative, hands-on experience. All ingredients & equipment provided.

Welcome to the world of Romvong, a traditional Khmer (Cambodian) circle dance! This dance brings people together through rhythm, movement, and joy. In this class we will be learning saravan, lam leav, kbach, as well as other dances! These dances are pretty common in wedding celebrations, New Years, and other occasions. This is a beginner-friendly class where you will learn the basic steps, hand gestures, and move along with the flow of the music. It’s a casual dance class, so wear some comfy clothes and most importantly have fun! This is a great class to learn part of Cambodian culture.

*Please note that these dances utilize a lot of wrist movements.
