The colors range from soft pinks to vibrant orange and purples, the sky's the limit for what you can achieve with Shirley guiding you step by step. In this class you will learn what colors pair well next to each other and how to layer colors to achieve depth. No Prior experience is necessary; Shirley welcomes beginners with open arms. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the first time you’ll find this to be a fun and engaging class. Canvas and paints are supplied.

The ukulele has never been more popular, and you don't even have to know how to read music! On the uke you can knock out folk music, rock, blues, jazz, pop, and country tunes old and new -- even classical music.
Join instructor Duncan Perry on ZOOM, who has taught more than 700 students of all ages, and who will introduce you to essential chords and playing techniques using commonly known songs. Oh, and there are lots of laughs along the way. And, learning to play an instrument is good for your brain! You will need a playable ukulele and an electronic tuner or a tuner app. And when folks hear you play this happy instrument, well, they just have to smile! What are you waiting for? Grab a uke and get ready for a musical adventure, then spread the joy!

Cross Country & Snowshoe Trip to Jackson, NH Touring Center Trip 1

The “Foundation” maintains 150 km of trails that are considered by many to be the finest cross-country ski trails in the Eastern United States. Jackson Ski Touring Foundation presents state of the art grooming on trails designed to suit every taste and ability, whether you prefer quiet striding through old growth, New England forest, or all out skate skiing. You can visit on-trail destinations: the warming cabin and Cocoa Cabin on the Ellis River Trail. We will arrive to have a full day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing. You may bring your own equipment or rent at the touring center. Before heading back, we will dine at one of the fine local restaurants. This trip will enrich lives and promote a healthy lifestyle. Rental fees and food expenses are participant’s responsibility. Maximum of 8 may participate on this trip.

Beginner Bead Loom Basics

Learn the absolute basics you need to get started making pretty little bracelets in this meditative and fashionable art form. Materials and tools not included. Material List: Bead Loom (Beadalon is a simple & affordable option), Round Seed beads (size 6/0 recommended), Beading thread (non stretchy), Beading needles (collapsable eye highly recommended), End clasps/slide clasps (recommended for finishing), Embroidery Thread (optional), and Scissors.
