Low Back Relief Yoga Workshop

This workshop is designed to help strengthen and stretch the low back muscles and abdominal muscles. These two muscle groups work together to form a strong core to support our whole body. The poses that we learn will also open the hips and stretch the back and whole body. We will learn many poses that can be practiced at home. 

Join us and learn some poses that can help relieve your tension. All levels are welcome.

Equipment will be provided for you. Information learned through yoga classes and workshops should not be considered a substitute for medical advice.

Reiki II Workshop

Reiki II is the second class in the Usui Reiki curriculum. Upon completion each student will have knowledge of and experience working with Reiki level II symbols. Reiki Symbols are energetic keys used to enhance and access specific energies. The Reiki II symbols enable each practitioner to facilitate healing at the physical, mental, and emotional levels, and conduct distance healing. Class discussion will include working with the energetic body and chakra system, symbol applications, and professional ethics. Students will participate in an attunement ceremony similar to the Reiki I attunement. Each student will participate in hands-on practice using the Reiki II symbols and receive handouts and a certificate.

Completion of Reiki I is a prerequisite. If you'd like to attend Reiki II, but took Reiki I elsewhere, please bring your Reiki I certificate with you. Please also bring the manual you received in your Reiki I class.

*Required purchase of manual thru teacher $20 at time of class (unless student already owns manual – Reiki – The Healing Touch – First and Second Degree Manual by William Lee Rand)

Understanding Constitutional Carry and Legal Use of Force

This three-hour course is for firearm owners and nonowners. You’ll learn what to do when you see an attack or if you are attacked and respond with force. You’ll learn how to contact the first responders, how prosecutors might view what you did, rules about concealed carry in the US and Maine, and various ways to protect yourself without using a firearm. Class taught via Zoom.
