Working with Silver Clay is an exciting process where the inexperienced can explore their artistic abilities and create unique one of a kind items. Come join this exciting class where beginners can easily learn to create earrings, pendants, charms, beads, bracelets, and rings. Experience a new creative adventure and learn how easy and fun it is to make beautiful items from Precious Metal Clay (PMC) or Art Clay Silver (ACS). Improve French comprehension and conversational skills through French media and literature where we will listen, read, and discuss in French what's going on in the world. *No Class: 9/25 & 11/27.

As we approach winter, knowing what herbs and lifestyle choices can support our immunity is important! This class will discuss the immune system, common winter illness and which herbs to take as preventives and during acute illness. We will try some immune herbs and everyone will go home with herbal tea!

Get started with the basics of watercolor painting. In this workshop we will start with an intro to paper, paint, palettes, and brushes. Then we'll jump right in and get painting; you’ll mix paint to complete a color mixing chart and start to learn the basics of color theory. Time permitting you'll paint a custom illustration created by Catherine and printed on watercolor paper. You'll leave this fun class with enough experience to continue your watercolor journey. *There is a $10 materials fee payable to the instructor on the day of the workshop.

The Maine Driving Dynamics course is a driver improvement course that is designed to improve a student’s defensive driving awareness. This five-hour course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways. Our goal is to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes. A student who completes the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record and may be eligible for insurance discount.
