Bringing Community Together, One Step At A Time

Since 2001, we have opened our doors to welcome community members to walk our multiple indoor and outdoor walking routes throughout the Noble High School property. Indoor routes range from 1/3 to 1/2 mile. If you’re up for a challenge, you have the option of including stairs in your workout. The outdoor routes are about a mile in distance. This is a great way to get in some exercise, especially during the cold New England months. Bring a friend or come as a family. All are welcome! Not to mention, joining is FREE!

To join, just drop by the main office to sign in and pick up a name tag. When you're done, you just sign out and drop off your name tag. Join the fun and become a Noble Strider!

Ever wanted to take some time for yourself and play with clay? Learn the basics of hand building and wheel throwing in this 6 week class. This class is geared toward the beginner. The first 10 people to sign up have priority on the wheel. Please let admins know if you prefer to hand build or wheel throw so we can keep an accurate account. Join Tony for this special one-night cooking workshop! Ropa vieja is a classic Caribbean dish of shredded beef stewed in a flavorful tomato-based sauce with peppers, onions, and spices, traditionally made with flank steak or chuck roast that is slow-cooked until tender. The name means "old clothes" in Spanish, referring to the shredded meat's appearance. It's typically served with white rice, black beans, and other vegetables. Special Note: The instructor will provide the shredded beef already cooked, while students will prepare the side dishes together in class. The instructor will go over how students can make the shredded beef at home. Please bring containers to take food home with you! *There is a $25 ingredients fee, payable to the instructor at class.

Come join us as we explore the wonders of clay! You will develop and use it to create unique pieces of your own design through a variety of techniques. You will be encouraged to try the manual and electric wheels, roller, carving tools, and beautiful glazes to bring the pieces you imagine to life. Beginners to experts welcome.

Class 5: Prepping pieces for firing
Class 6: Glazing pieces

Clay and glaze cost is $45 due to the instructor at the first class.

There is a max of 15 students per session.

Discover the joy of watercolor in this welcoming three-week series designed for true beginners. Learn essential skills like brush control, color mixing, layering, and simple composition through guided practice and relaxed, supportive instruction. Each class builds confidence while allowing space to experiment and play. Leave with finished pieces and the skills to keep painting on your own. Meets 5–7:30pm for three weeks. $25 materials fee; all supplies provided.

Beautiful objects are created in this class every semester by beginners. You can create a stained glass window or lampshade using the copper-foil technique. Learn acid etching and drilling. This is a fun and rewarding course. A complete list of materials will be discussed on the first night of class. The cost of materials is not included in the course fee and can vary depending on choice of glass and what your imagination will create. Note: You will also need to purchase your own tools, which can run between $45-$95. *No Class: 10/12, 1/18, 2/15. **Snow Date: 3/22.
