This course is for people experiencing tight hips and low back discomfort , as well as active people and athletes.  Tight hips impact knees and low back.  Contributing factors are long periods of sitting which lock hips tight.  We begin with simple stretches and breathwork for deep relaxation and progress as mobility increases.  No experience is necessary, Bring a mat for floorwork.

INSTRUCTOR: Judy Stark has been a Certified Group Fitness Instructor in numerous formats for 19+ years.

We will work out to improve strength, muscle tone, and flexibility with resistance bands, balls, and body weight, incorporating the newest techniques in personal training for cognitive health. We will work on improving your balance, gait, and confidence with agility training. Wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, bring yoga mats, a friend, or your own exercise bands if you like.

Instructor: Jane Wyman has been an ACE-Certified Personal Fitness Trainer for 20 years.

Robin's Zumba® classes have been running strong for over 16 years through the Wells Ogunquit Adult Ed. Zumba® is dance exercise for people who don't consider themselves dancers but love to dance. The hour flies by and you will get a great workout. Robin uses fun, high energy music and the moves are basic and repeated enough times so that you really know them. Plus one of the best things about Zumba® is the emphasis on modifying the moves to make them your own.  Questions about the class? Nordic Walking S1- NEW!

Nordic walking with snowshoes and poles can burn more calories than regular walking, it develops upper body strength while reducing impact on joints. Suitable for the beginners.  Please wear comfortable footwear and dress for the Maine outdoor winter weather. Bring your own walking poles or let us know if you may need some.

Learn How To Play Disc Golf!

Come check out Hammond Farm Disc Golf Course, here in North Berwick at 410 Fox Farm Hill Rd.  You will get a lesson and some practice time before you head out on the course to play a round. If you are a beginner, pro player Scott Walsh will introduce you to the game; if you have some experience playing, Scott will help you improve your disc golf skills.

We will provide the discs if you need them, so all you need to bring is your sense of adventure and willingness to have fun!

Zumba - Fitness and Fun Dance is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. Maribel mixes both low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. Students of all experience levels are welcome in this class, and Maribel will help show students both low and high impact dance moves to fit students' class goals/abilities. If you’re looking for a no-pressure fitness class that brings lots of fun and energy, then this class is for you!

Bring a water bottle; wear comfortable clothes and indoor shoes with little to no tread to reduce twisting knee joints.
