Elevate your musical proficiency with precision and passion with instruction from Lizzie Henyan. Tailored to all levels, our instructors focus on technique, theory, and your unique goals. 

An Elm City Community Music representative will contact you after you have registered to schedule you for your specific lesson time with Lizzie between 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Please ensure you use current and accurate contact information when registering. Lessons are limited to students 8 years old and up. 

Lessons will meet for 6 sessions; there is no class on Wednesday, July 3. For students who are 15 years or younger: A parent/guardian must remain on-site for the duration of the class. 

Choose the type of lesson that is the best fit for you:

  • 30-minute private lesson: $200 per student
  • 60-minute semi-private lesson (2-3 students at a similar skill level): $290 per student
  • 60-minute private lesson: $380 per student.

Registration for the summer session will close on Friday, June 14, to give time for Elm City to set up all lesson times and contact learners before June 19.

Leavitt & Tripp SUMMER Basketball

This is the SUMMER basketball program for grades 7-12 run by the Leavitt Basketball staff. We will use the high school gymnasiums and work on skills and drills.

Practice schedules for JV & Varsity are available from Coach Hathaway.

There will be practices and games for both teams. Games are M/W with some home and some away.

Grade 7+8 practices are: June 19-21 (W-F) at 8-930am and June 24, 26, 28 (M/W/F) at 930-11am.

Some 8th graders might be asked to practice or play with the JV team depending on ability.

Low-Brass Lessons with Josh Lund

Josh is offering lessons in tuba, trombone, and baritone/euphonium. Students can choose at registration their preferred instrument lesson choice.

Songwriting

Leavitt GIRLS SUMMER Basketball

This is the SUMMER basketball program for girls going into grades 8-12 run by the Leavitt HS Girls Basketball coaches & staff.

We will use the high school gymnasiums.

There will be practices Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00 PM, with scrimmages on some Friday and Saturday nights.

June 19th - July 31st 5:30-7:30pm

Schedules will be emailed to participants and handed out by Coach Kyle Rines at the first practice.

Intermediate Rock Band

This intermediate class will choose songs to perform together. Performing with others is an art and Jon Hatch will coach the band with skills gained through performing with bands himself. Prerequisites: Students must know at least 4 chords, drum beats, or scales.

Introduction to Ukulele - Group Class

with Jo Hampton, Mid-Maine Regional Adult Community Education

Learn to play the fun, portable ukulele in a group setting! This beginner's class covers ukulele basics like tuning, chords, strumming, and reading music. No experience required! Bring your own ukulele or use one provided. Students will be emailed a supply list of things to bring to the first class. You are highly encouraged to bring any materials or music you already own including songbooks, as well as any songs you are hoping to learn! Limit 10 students.

This class meets weekly on Wednesdays for 6 sessions. There is no class session on Wednesday, July 3. For students who are 15 years or younger: A parent/guardian must remain on-site for the duration of the class.
