Gel Plate Printmaking For Beginners

Gel Plate Printing is a dynamic and fun way to express yourself through creating monoprints on a soft, pliable gel plate. Each one-of-a-kind print is as individual as the person creating it and requires no prior art skills to do. In class you will learn what gel plate printing is, how to do it using several different techniques, and be provided with the materials needed to create a variety of prints.

CHILDREN'S BOATING SAFETY: BOATING FUN, ADVENTURE ON THE WATER

This class uses a storybook/coloring book format to teach basic boating and water safety messages. The knowledge learned in class allows kids to share what they have learned with siblings and parents, improving overall family boating safety. A guest appearance by Coastie (USCG Auxiliary Mascot). Topics covered include water and boating safety basics and boating awareness along with emergency and safety procedures. Adobe InDesign CC Essentials

Adobe InDesign is the industry standard page-layout program that works with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop seamlessly. InDesign allows you to create simple to complex multi-page documents such as brochures, flyers, books and magazines. This course is a comprehensive exploration of InDesign tools and capabilities to create professional documents. You will learn how to manage the InDesign environment, create, setup, design, enhance and finalize multi-page documents. Access to Adobe InDesign software required. For all online Adobe classes, students are responsible for purchasing their own software for their course. Trial versions of Adobe software are sometimes available on the Adobe company website.
Closing Procedures and Financial Statements

This course shows you how to create a worksheet used to adjust the account balances and prepare the financial statements. Use your financial statements to measure performance, make improvements and set goals. The final step covered in this course is closing your books and preparing them for the next accounting period; this is done by journalizing and posting closing entries.
