This course is designed to acquaint you with common mechanical problems and general auto maintenance skills. Tires, windshield wipers, fluids, jump starting, and other items will be discussed to help you to look after your car. There will be questions and possibly answers, most likely stories and demos. 

All participants will have an opportunity to learn knitting by making a winter hat out of yarn. Knitting is believed to have originated in the Middle East in the 5th century and traveled to Europe with wool traders soon afterwards. We will cast on, knit, knit two together, bind off and hand sew. All yarn materials are provided including instructions. All participants need to purchase a set of size US11 knitting needles. BIO: As a retired educator with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, Bette Kersting Bell now teaches creative activities that have useful outcomes. Martial Arts in the Morning

Come join us for Martial Arts in the Morning! Bring your coffee, bring yourself, bring your friend!

This class session is open to people of all ages and abilities who would like to explore martial arts for the first time. Participants will learn basic karate techniques, and then utilize them with a partner. Class will end with a self-defense move, that is suggested for a real-life situation. Come start your day with us. Have fun learning something new while learning how to stay safe.
