NEW Homemade Holiday Food Gifts

Who needs another lottery ticket or turtleneck? In this one-night class Debra will guide you through the steps to make Peanut Butter Buckeyes, Haystack Cookies, Spiced pecans, and Quick Toffee Brittle. All recipes will be made in duplicate so participants can take home little gifts that are packaged with flair. Come with containers for taking home your creations. $55 fee includes $10 materials charge. No experience necessary.
Polymer Clay Ornaments

Join us for this 2-part class in which we'll cover glass ornaments with polymer clay. In the first class we'll assemble the chrysanthemum cane (simple but looks complex). We'll cover and bake our ornaments in the second class. Everyone goes home with 3 completed ornaments. $10 materials fee covers ornaments, clay, inclusions and extras. Tools and pasta machine will be provided.

Learn how to make macrame ornaments! During this class you will learn how to make three unique styles of macrame ornaments, and have the opportunity to make multiples! They make wonderful and unique decorations as well as holiday gifts! All supplies included.

Parent/Child: Handmade Holiday Goat Soap
with Shana Therrien, Noble Adult & Community Education
Spend time with your kiddos and join Shana for a one night-workshop. Just in time for the holidays, NACE is excited to work with Shana to bring you a fun parent/child class based on her popular "Making Goat Milk Soap" class. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the art of soap making with goat milk collected from Shana's herd of goats at Pond View Farm. You will get to make your own batch of six bars per team, that you'll be able to take home after they have cured for 48 hours.
$15 materials fee payable to the instructor at the start of class.
For this class, the parent will register and can bring a max of 2 children to class with them to make 1 batch of soap together. When you register, only the parent registers, you do not have to register your children separately. If you have any questions, please reach out at 207-676-3223.
Personal Cyber Security (B)

Join us to discuss the various concepts of cyber security and how it relates to ensuring security of personal information, finances, and property. Topics will include: types of security threats, anti-virus and firewall products, securing operating systems, applications, and accounts, securing networks and VPN products, local network integrated physical security devices. Classroom computers are provided in the classroom, but participants may choose to bring their own laptop, devices (with Excel 2013 or newer installed).
