Paint your Pet

Come join Shirley Anderson for an engaging and beginner-friendly ‘Paint your Pet’ class! In this workshop budding artists will receive step-by-step guidance to create a beautiful portrait of their beloved furry of feathered companions. No Prior experience is necessary; Shirley welcomes beginners with open arms.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the first time, this class is a fun and rewarding experience as you immortalize your pet on canvas. After signing up for this class you will receive instructions on how to send your photos to the instructor prior to the class. You will need to send five good quality photos of your pet. Limit 10 students.

Casting Paper Ornaments
with Penny Hartwell, Merrymeeting Community & Adult Education
Pressed cotton paper ornaments originated in Germany, Russia and Austria. Cotton paper pulp is pressed on ceramic paper molds and removed when dry. Gold accents were used on the torn edges. Students may bring dried flower petals to add to their holiday ornaments to create a unique touch. $5.00 Lab Fee due at beginning of class.
Developing A Personal and Home Defensive Protection Plan

This three-hour course is NOT about installing an alarm system. It is about adjusting your awareness around you as you move through your day and your home. It is about doing mental exercises to handle the “What if’s” to keep you and your loved ones safe. Learn situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and how to access your home’s defense. Part 1 of a 3-part series but can be taken separately. This is a Zoom class.

Gentle Beginner Hatha Yoga - 6 Week

Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building our strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Drop-ins are welcome and new students can join anytime.
