All employees represent their financial institution, whether on the front line or in the back office. Some employees are in the position to be the first person a customer sees – the face of the organization. Other employees deal with customers on the phone or email. All customer contact is critical to an organization’s success with its customers or members. Your Role as a Professional Banker is part of the industry-recognized Foundations in Banking Certificate. This course, which is taught on a volunteer basis by professionals from our local banking industry, covers several points to becoming a successful and valued employee at your financial institution.

This interval training class offers three essential fitness components: Cardio, strength training, and stretching to release tension. Participants will engage in interval training, essential for calorie burning and weight loss. Students will engage in multiple actions for short bursts. Beginner Golfers: Learn the fundamentals of the sport in a fun, judgement-free indoor setting using simulators or the driving range, weather permitting. If you’re new to golf or just looking for basic fundamentals, this is your class! Join us for an in-depth introduction of putting, chipping and full swing with irons and woods along with a discussion of the rules and course etiquette. Please note: Bringing your own clubs is highly recommended. Please note at the time of registration if you do not have a set.

RSU 3 has a state-of-the-art fitness center available for use by the community.  Located at the high school, come join and set up a fitness plan that will work for you! Sessions include a complete orientation with RSU 3 Teacher and Fitness Center Supervisor Mary Manley, who is on-site during the entire session.                                                        

The center is fully equipped with several cardiovascular machines including treadmills, ellipticals, upright and recumbent stationary bicycles, a rowing machine, free weights, and a complete Life Fitness Pro Circuit Series of weight machines.              

Requires a medical clearance waiver signed by the participant who must be 18 years or older.  No street shoes are allowed in the fitness facility.

You will learn how to create beautiful, aromatic candles using delicately dried flowers, your choice of a variety of essential oil blended scents, and natural organic soy wax to make unique and charming dough bowl candles.

You will also learn the art of Decoupage, transforming a simple glass jar into a stunningly adorned lantern. Students will take home beautiful and functional pieces. All Supplies included.
