Holiday Mono Print Card Making Session II

Show your holiday spirit this season with homemade cards. In this one-night, three-hour workshop, you will create a dozen holiday themed, mono print cards using masks and stencils. Learn about various gel printing techniques and produce true pieces of fine art for your friends and family. All supplies included (i.e., cards, envelopes, and ink). Patrick Corey resides in Windham and has a BFA in drawing and painting. Professionally he works as a graphic artist. He enjoys watercolor painting and photography.

Intro to Acrylic Painting

Needle Felting: Snowman
with Mary Sabins, Five Town CSD Adult & Community Education
Needle felted Snowman class for beginners and intermediate felters. Come and learn how to make an approximate 6-inch snowman from white wool fibers to enjoy decorating with during the winter months. Choose to add a miniature red cardinal bird and faux greenery in your snowman’s arms if desired, and make a winter hat and scarf from your choice of fiber colors to dress him for cold weather. No experience necessary. A separate $15 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the start of the class (cash or check). Class size limited to 10 students; age 14+ welcome.
Visible Mending Basics

An estimated 11.3 million tons of textile waste end up in landfills each year in America. Let's keep some clothes out of the landfill by learning basic hand-mending stitches! Explore different stitch techniques and create your own cloth stitching sampler book to take home. All materials provided.

Christmas Wreath or Kissing Ball

Come make a holiday wreath or kissing ball with fresh greens, pinecones and learn to make a beautiful bow. Other decorations are available.
There is a materials fee of $30 (CASH) to be paid to the office at the beginning of class for wreath or kissing ball materials that the instructor buys previously for class.

CPR
with Charissa Kerr, Windham/Raymond Adult Education
Learn about adult, child and infant CPR and AED use, adult, child and infant choking, and how and when to call emergency services. Course includes use of manikins, video, certified instruction, practical components, and a certificate of completion. Practical time has been increased to ensure you have enough time to gain confidence in your skills. Optional workbook is available for $10 (cash please) from instructor at class.

Drawing Birds for the Casual Birder
