Color Theory is the art of combining colors based on the color wheel. Accurately combining colors, using the color wheel, and understanding how colors relate to each other are critical skills for artists, crafters, designers, marketers, and brand owners. Color theory helps determine which colors look good together and goes beyond just "eyeing" color combinations. There is a supply fee of $7 payable to the instructor at class.

Accurately combining colors, using the color wheel, and understanding how colors relate to each other are critical skills for artists, designers, marketers, and brand owners.  Color theory helps determine which colors look good together and goes beyond just “eyeing” color combinations. 

There is a supply fee of $7.00 payable to the instructor at class and an option to purchase a color wheel for an additional $6.

Ryan Home Pizza Party & Story Time!

This pizza party/story time, along with book pre-orders, is to raise funds for The Ryan Home Project, which is a program that supports displaced studentsin the Noble School District. We are also working in conjunction with theNoble Adult and Community Education (NACE) program!

Matt Tavares is a New York Times bestselling author/illustrator of children’sbooks. We have included a list of his most popular books that are currentlyavailable for purchase that Matt has illustrated and many he has also written.

These books are available for pre-order and can be picked up at the event. The Ryan Home Project will receive 40% of the sales for anybooks ordered during this pre-order!

This free event will include a drawing presentation and a reading by Matt Tavares of one of his personal books. Matt will also be available to autographyour purchased books. Bring a blanket or quilt to sit on. Pajamas are always welcome! No inflatable splease!

We will have pizza, snacks, and beverages available for purchase at the beginning of the event. If you plan to purchase pizza, please email MaureenM228@gmail.com by Wednesday, May 15th with the number of children and adults coming so we will be sure to have enough food availablefor everyone.

If you can’t attend the event, any books purchased can be sent home with yourstudent through their classroom.

This audience includes nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, students in a healthcare program at a university/college, allied health professionals (physical therapists, occupational therapist, athletic trainers, etc.), and others who may need training in basic life support skills. Pho (pronounced “fuh”) is a Vietnamese noodle soup that’s made with broth, rice noodles, meat, and fresh garnishes.  The broth's unique flavor is so delicious and delicate.  Making Pho broth is a labor of love.

Reiki is a philosophy and healing method originated in Japan for the purpose of maintaining healthful flow of Chi, bringing together physical, mental and emotional balance.  It is calming, relaxing, and easy to perform on yourself and other beings, including animals and plants. The feeling of this waveform of energy is described in Gendai Reiki Ho as "the energy of love harmony, and healing that resonates with human consciousness or spiritual awareness."

This school of Classical Japanese Reiki is particularly aligned with Nature and the aura of the heart. In this Certification Course, you will be empowered into Reiki (Level One) and learn how to sense and perceive, and utilize it using specific hands on as well as distant methods to reduce stress and pain, speed healing, increase intuition, manifest goals, and stimulate creativity. An original 30-page manual is included.

Class size is limited. Please bring something to drink and your lunch.

UPDATE--PLEASE NOTE:  THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR MAY!  PLEASE REGISTER INSTEAD FOR THE JULY CLASS! Participants in Pine Tree Education's interactive class will learn to confidently provide care for Adults/Children/Infants who have experienced a sudden illness or injury until Emergency Medical Services arrive and take over care. Following national Emergency Cardiac Care guidelines, revised during the COVID pandemic, students will learn to recognize a heart attack, and each will work on their own manikin to learn CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Students will learn how to recognize stroke, and care for breathing emergencies, such as asthma, and choking. First aid skills include the care for burns, bleeding, and other injuries. Instructor looks for attainment of skill level as each skill is taught without a formal testing situation. Optional written tests are available, at no additional cost, but not required for certification. Nationally Recognized Certificate and Ready Reference Cards included.
