with Crystal Mills, Merrymeeting Community & Adult Education
Would you like to make an impact on your community? Have you been touched by hospice? Join me for this engaging presentation (and question and answer time) as I provide all the needed information on how to become a hospice volunteer. We will discuss what volunteers do, what you can expect, the benefits of volunteering and the mandated requirements. Andwell Health Partners is the best and only non-profit hospice in the area. We offer our volunteers mileage reimbursement, monthly social gatherings, continuing education and many ways to volunteer. We have visiting volunteers, phone support, bereavement, administrative and retail volunteers in our thrift stores. The Best Medicine is Love and Support, and if you agree, please join our amazing volunteer team. Bring a tablet, laptop or even smartphone if you would like to get started immediately.
