Paint Night w/ Shirley! Come join us and paint an adorable Deer Fawn. This class is designed for absolute beginners and Shirley Anderson will lead you step by step through the process and teach you a few painting tips and techniques. Canvas and paints are supplied.

Participation in a boating education course will teach how to properly operate and maintain a boat. The Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife course is approved by NASBLA. Passage of a final exam is required. The course covers proper operation and safety (boat handling, equipment, trailering), laws, emergencies and cold-water survival, self-help first aid, and environment/ethics. You must attend the entire course to receive your certificate.

Amy will do the materials shopping for you and bring everything to class, so all you have to do is show up ready to learn! To cover each person’s wreath materials, a $30 materials fee is due at the beginning of class. The $30 materials fee (cash or check only) is separate from the $30 registration fee. Amy will guide you through the process to create a cute Easter wreath to take home at the end of the class. The finished size is approximately 24 inches! You will have a choice of 4 different designs to pick from at the start of class. Each wreath design will have enough materials to create 5 wreaths. Curious to learn more about the wildflowers and trees that make their home in the Maine woods? Come meet the native wildflowers and trees along the trails at Tannery Brook Preserve. Our outing will incorporate plant folklore, identification, and the gifts each plant has to share. Amy is passionate about nature, plants and all things connected to Mother Earth. Officially she’s a Naturalist, Garden Coach, Horticulturist, Educator, and the enthusiastic, Nature Spirit guided, Director of Earth Walkers (www.earthwalkers.me).
