Do you have a passion for voiceovers? Want to earn income using your talents from the comfort of your home? Explore the fun, rewarding possibilities of the growing remote voiceover industry! Discover the current trends in the industry and how easy and affordable it can be to learn, set up, and work from home. You'll learn about different types of voiceovers and the tools you'll need to find success.

Your instructor, a professional voice actor from Voices For All, will take notes as you read a real script in this one-on-one video chat setting, and offer some coaching to improve your delivery. You'll receive a professional voiceover evaluation later in a follow-up call. One-time, 90-minute, introductory class.

These examples are just a few of the many ways you can turn an average image into something special. Have fun editing your pictures with the many options in your Mac's Photos app.

Conquer Your Photos App Chaos: Tame Your Mac Images - BoomerTECH (Online) W25

Many people have 1000 or more images stored in their Mac desktop/laptop Photos App. Frustration sets in when one tries to locate a picture or a video among the multitude of saved images. Understanding the built-in organization of the Mac Photos app is the first thing you will learn in this course. Next comes organizing your images and videos into albums and folders to develop your management system. Plus, you will also learn how to tag people in photos and create shared albums that you can invite friends and family to view.

Cooking With BoomerTECH Adventures (Online) W25

In this course, BoomerTECH Adventures guide, Chris, shares his love of cooking and enjoyment of many different foods. You will learn how to prepare several tasty stir-fries using traditional Chinese flavorings, make fresh pasta, turn leftover sweet potato into gnocchi, stir up great fried rice, and give ramen soup a delicious upgrade. In addition, discover an easy way to make your own pita pockets, flatbreads, and tortillas. Plus, you will see a way to combine the benefits of cooking on cast iron with your love of grilling. We haven't forgotten dessert! Who can resist a delectable chocolate brownie torte or apple pie? This course is video-based.

If you, or someone you know, want to practice strategies for reading and writing in a safe, friendly environment, this is the course for you. 

Reading and writing are complex.  The teacher will share the skills necessary to understand what you read, and to build your vocabulary and your confidence with writing.  Using articles, books, vocabulary exercises and online computer applications, increase your ability to read, write, remember, and feel confident in the world.  This is an in-person class with ongoing enrollment through May.

Emily Nash brings many years of experience teaching adult education and has strong skills in designing curriculum to meet the real needs of students. She’s respectful and sensitive to the needs of adult learners and is always a good listening ear. She loves to read, and between stints as an adult education teacher, she is a seasonal professional landscaper. Emily is a student advisor, and teaches English, HiSET prep and Multilingual Learners.

This course is designed to help adults improve their reading, writing, proofreading, editing, and revising to prepare for standardized exams.  We cover the basics of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, paragraph development, and will eventually write effective essays with clear ideas, smooth transitions, and logical support.  We will practice planning, research, prewriting, and organizing our writing.  Learning to proofread for punctuation, usage, content, and support will be emphasized.  This is an in-person class with ongoing enrollment through May.
