Digital Photography for Newbies

Are you still getting to know your digital camera and its features? Here’s an opportunity to learn from an expert in this seminar for beginners! Have your camera ready and learn when and how to use its special features - such as program mode, manual mode, aperture priority and shutter priority. Also covered will be basic composition and best use of light for different situations, such as plant, people, macro, and landscape photography.

This 60 minute, energetic, fun-filled dance fitness class features a fusion of easy to follow dance moves, resistance training, yoga and kickboxing, all choreographed to popular music! The class is designed for all fitness levels with safe and effective moves to give a total body workout! Students should bring a mat and weights. Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. *No Class: 4/14, 4/16, 4/21 & 4/23.
Pies & Tarts

Have you suffered through pastry mishaps or despaired over runny pie filling? Let Deb help you with that! In one evening, we will make a standard two-crust pie that will get rave reviews. We will also be making fresh fruit tarts. Hands-on instruction, recipes, tips and liberal tasting opportunities assure that this will be an exciting class. Bring plastic containers for samples, as well as an apron and your favorite rolling pin. All materials included.
Spring Scones

Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People

In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment, and you won’t have to take private lessons to do it. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. Fee includes the online book, online follow up lessons, a recording of the class and also an optional periodic question and answer session. Class is held online using zoom and is partly hands on instruction and partly lecture/demonstration. Wok & Cleaver Bootcamp

Each student will take home a specially selected kit with a seasoned wok, wok spatula, sharpened cleaver, honing steel, and a cutting board. Those in the know bring containers just in case! The Wok is the most versatile pan in the world. Join Chris Toy, author of the award winning The Complete Wok Cookbook and learn all about its 3000 year old history. Materials kits included! *However, since kits are ordered ahead of time, there is a $100.00 non-refundable fee for cancellations to cover the cost of the kits. If you cancel, your kit will be sent to the adult ed office for pick-up.
