Let It Go! Fiesta
with Tony Garreton, Merrymeeting Community & Adult Education
This is a unique dance therapy program, led by Tony Dancer, that offers physical and mental health benefits. Not only does it help you stay physically fit and burn calories, but it also serves as a form of therapy to combat depression and anxiety. With Tony as your guide, you can dance and let go of your worries without fear of judgment. Let It Go Fiesta features a mix of Latin and multicultural music, making it enjoyable for people of all ages, genders, and body types. You can move at your own pace and have a great time. So why not join the fun with "Let it Go Fiesta" and experience the joy and freedom of dance? If you hate to workout but love to dance, this is for you! Course fee is for 6 sessions with Tony.
Oil Painting for Ultra Beginners

Stained Glass Studio

Come join Penny to freshen up your skills, learn new advanced skills, build in 3D, and explore other possibilities. Beginner Line Dancing to Rock/Pop Songs
with Anne Sirois, Merrymeeting Community & Adult Education
This is a beginner/slightly intermediate class that does not increase in difficulty. It focuses on everyone meeting for community and having fun. I choreograph light and easy, short dances to 80’s through current rock/pop songs. We break them down, then rehearse them 3-4 times before doing it to music. We usually get through 4 or 5 dances in one hour. The goal is to experience the basics of line dancing with confidence, relaxation, and joy. *This program runs for 3 weeks per session.
Cardio Fit
with Pam Justice, Merrymeeting Community & Adult Education
This 60 minute, energetic, fun-filled dance fitness class features a fusion of easy to follow dance moves, resistance training, yoga and kickboxing, all choreographed to popular music! The class is designed for all fitness levels with safe and effective moves to give a total body workout! Students should bring a mat and weights. Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Needle-felted Tapestry Workshop
with Megan Franasiak, Merrymeeting Community & Adult Education
In this two week workshop, we will explore two-dimensional needle-felting techniques to create fiber tapestries. Students will learn how to build images with wool while focusing on color usage and basic drawing techniques. Students may also incorporate other media, such as embroidery, if desired. No experience is required! Needle-felting materials and tools will be provided and are included in the price of the course.
Thriving after Divorce

Divorce is a devastating life event that may leave you struggling to process emotions, find your financial footing, enter a new relationship in a healthy way, or co-parent with your ex effectively. We’ll cover how a painful ending can be the start of a new beginning with practical tools as well as best practices for emotional, physical, and mental health to get you on the road to re-finding your joy and thriving.
