Become certified in First Aid/CPR/AED – Adult and Child. All the equipment (manikins and AEDs), videos, Student Workbooks, and consumable supplies are provided. Included in the course are adult and child CPR with AED and first aid skills, where the students demonstrate the skills learned. Upon successful completion, an American Heart Association First/Aid CPR and AED Certification card will be sent to the student, valid for two (2) years. For those taking the course to meet U.S. Coast Guard requirements, a Certificate of Completion that indicates this course meets the requirements of 46 CFR 11.201 for Merchant Mariner Credential will also be issued. The ukulele is one of the easiest ways to try making music for the first time, or learn a new instrument. In this class we’ll start with 4-5 basic chords that can be used to play lots of popular and familiar tunes and build from there. We’ll cover how to tune, strum and sing along. No prior musical experience required and all levels are welcome! Instructor Nina Andersen has 30 years of experience facilitating and supporting adults making music at whatever level they can. She is the Founder and Music Director of the Southern Maine New Horizons Band, Music Director of the New England Adult Music Camp and the Associate Conductor of the Harpswell Concert Band. She was also the Music Director of the Maine Pops Concert Band from 1997-2017.
