Join us for an evening of painting of a beautiful red fox. These beautiful animals are known for their reddish brown fur and foxy appearance. This class is designed for beginners as well as advanced painters as Shirley Anderson will guide you step by step. Canvas and paints are supplied.

In this two-part workshop, you’ll explore the dramatic and hands-on process of raku firing. In Part 1, you’ll sculpt a piece in clay and watch a live raku firing demo. Three weeks later in Part 2, you’ll glaze and fire your own work using the raku method—removing red-hot pieces from the kiln and placing them into combustibles for stunning, unpredictable results. No experience necessary. All tools and materials provided. $20 materials fee payable to the instructor. This class is 2 sessions. Flow & Fire blends low-impact interval training with intentional movement and breath-focused recovery. This 45-minute class with Maine Active, LLC boosts strength, heart health, and functional mobility while keeping movements friendly and accessible. Each interval is designed to be modifiable, empowering participants to challenge themselves safely and mindfully. Expect a feel-good mix of cardio bursts, controlled strength segments, balance training, and grounding breathwork, no equipment required. Perfect for all fitness levels who want a more energetic class while still staying grounded in body awareness and safe mechanics. Nicole is an ACE certified fitness instructor and USAF veteran. Bring your favorite art supplies and join us to draw or paint the view at one of Maine's fabulous state parks. Pack a lunch, bring your sunblock and bugspray, and spend a day communing with nature and fellow artists. All experience levels encouraged. Guidance and feedback are provided as needed. At the end of our visit we meet up to share results with the group. Participants meet at the park (admission is NOT included in fee).
