Are you comfortable with your clay abilities and just looking for a place to work and improve your skills? Join us in the Morse High School Ceramics Studio and start making all those things you have been dreaming up! This is not an instructor lead class, but the instructor will be on site working in case you need something. $65 for materials and studio fee, payable to instructor, must be paid on the first night of class. *Purchasing additional clay: The fee is an additional $65 to cover the firing, glazes and other consumables used during class. Please note: If you miss a class, you cannot make-up the class at another time. The ceramics schedule is very tight and these classes are usually full. Thank you for your understanding!

Driver's Education: Morse High School w/Bryan

Parents are required to attend the last 30 minutes of the first class AND participate in a ride-along with your child for the last hour of their 10 hour driving lessons requirement.  Please Note:  There is a make-up fee for missed classes.

Are you 15 years of age or older and want your State of Maine permit to prepare for your driving exam? We offer driver education courses to help build strong, safe, and confident drivers. Students are awarded an instructional permit upon successful completion of the course with a grade of 80 percent or better. Only employee discounts are allowed, but you must call to register. If the student has a medical condition, please contact the office or click on the link below as an additional medical form is required. Total hours of instruction is 40; 30 classroom and 10 driving. Full payment of $535 is required at the time of registration. If a student withdraws from the course, $75 is withheld from the refund to cover program costs. Only employee discounts for this class. Please bring your birth certificate or passport to the first class and a pen to every class.

Guitar w/ Randy

This Spring semester you can be playing songs on your guitar in just a few classes! We will discuss guitar technique as we practice learning a few basic chords and strumming patterns, which are all detailed in my book for reference as you practice at home on your own between classes. We'll actually play songs as part of our class. You will also discover how to read music in standard notation and guitar tablature! So, get some new strings, maybe a songbook, and start practicing (even if you don't know what you're doing). Make sure to bring lots of enthusiasm and questions about guitar! New students: $20 materials fee paid to instructor for two books and more. *No Class: 4/15 & 5/27.

This Spring semester, in our Singing Class, we will focus on concepts such as accuracy of pitch, projection, pronunciation, and personal style. We will have fun singing songs in parts (SATB) while discussing vocal production to help you become a stronger, more confident singer. We need male/low pitch voices … We usually have more ladies than men, so if you're a bit shy about signing up, know that others are shy, too. Come discover the capabilities of your own voice! In this course we will examine these Maine inventors, their inventions, and the impact these innovations, and many more, had on our world today. Join us for this informative 3-week class by author and historian Lori-Suzanne Dell.

Tetra-Pak Printmaking

Learn the art of printmaking using recycled Tetra-pak. Participants will learn how to make their own plate, how to ink the plate, and pull prints by hand or using a craft die-cutting machine (manual machine, not a Cricut) or pasta maker. After the prints dry, participants will learn how to finish their prints with optional hand-color prints using water-colors and/or colored pencils. This class is suitable for all levels. All materials included.
