Planning and Paying for College
Do you have children who will be looking at college in the next few years or might you be thinking of returning to school yourself? Now is a great time to start thinking about the college financial aid process and ways to boost college savings. The earlier you start, the more confident and relaxed you will feel when it is time to apply for financial aid. Join Nikki Vachon, College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine for this 1-hour workshop as we talk all things paying for college. This workshop is offered by FAME in partnership with adult education programs across Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot and Washington Counties.
This is live online using ZOOM.
Nikki Vachon, College Access Counselor at FAME will be sharing information about programs that student loan borrowers might want to take advantage of. She has worked in the financial aid field for over 26 years and is passionate about sharing information and helping students and borrowers. She welcomes interaction and questions in classes and will end the session with helping create (or recover) their FAFSA login information (or recover it) to get ready to file the FAFSA or in some cases complete the FAFSA if attending in 2023-24 academic year.
