Have a sewing project in mind but don't know where to start? Join us and sew with friendly, like-minded people! Make a project you'll be proud of and take the guesswork out of sewing. Emily will be available to provide sewing machine basics, pattern reading, and basic sewing and finishing techniques. Enjoy a small class size and work at your own pace with personalized instruction. Come learn to sew or improve your skills in this hands-on class.
Emily Loder is a recreational programmer who, through Girl Scouting and volunteer service, has learned many skills that she enjoys sharing with her community. She has extensive experience with both machine and hand sewing techniques.
Tropical Terrariums - the Beginning

Love plants but don’t have a “green thumb”? Come learn all the basics and needs to create your own “Nature in a Glass”. Discover how ecosystems and “clean up crews” work. Learn a bit of the science involved as we prepare the soil and the plants, arranging them in a visually appealing style. This is a great way to connect with nature and creative a living work of art! Materials fee of $35 (cash please) payable to instructor at class.
Beginner Wool Braiding - Mug Rug

Have you ever wanted to learn how to do rug braiding? NACE is excited to welcome longtime rug braider, Pam, to share how fun and easy rug braiding can be. In this beginner rug braiding class you will learn how to make a Mug Rug. You will learn how to begin a circular rug that is a continuous mat. When you have completed this small mat, a larger chair pad or rug can be made with these skills.
Kit fee is $12 and payable to the instructor the night of class.
Class is limited to 4 per session
