The “Foundation” maintains 150 km of trails that are considered by many to be the finest cross-country ski trails in the Eastern United States. Jackson Ski Touring Foundation presents state of the art grooming on trails designed to suit every taste and ability, whether you prefer quiet striding through  old growth, New England forest, or all out skate skiing. You  can visit on-trail destinations: the warming cabin and Cocoa  Cabin on the Ellis River Trail. We will arrive to have a full day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing. You may bring your own equipment or rent at the touring center. Before heading back, we will dine at one of the fine local restaurants. This trip will enrich lives and promote a healthy lifestyle. Rental fees and food expenses are participant’s responsibility.  Maximum of 8 may participate on this trip.

We’ll learn techniques for capturing landscapes and cityscapes both accurately and expressively, and experiment with ways to build unique compositions. Students will learn techniques for watercolor and ink, and experiment with supplies that work well on the go. You’ll finish the course with a series of unique compositions, and the skills for continuing your sketchbook practice on future adventures.
