Clinical Dental Assistant

This comprehensive online dental assisting course will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to become a dental assistant, including every aspect of professional dental assistance. You will also prepare to pass the radiology, infection control, and anatomy and physiology portions of the Dental Assisting National Board examinations – NELDA or CDA.

An all-inclusive 16-week program that includes in-person skills labs and live via Zoom class meetings that prepare you to pass the National Certification. Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) national certification exam through NHA. $3,500 includes national certification, 6 practice exams, online study guide materials, books, resume assistance, and all other associated fees. Externships may be available in your area. Payment plans are available. Live Classes meet TU/TH 5:30-8:30 PM.

CNA Interest List

CNAs are caregivers who provide patients assistance with activities of daily living and basic needs. They also help patients feel safe and comfortable throughout their hospital stay. These direct caregivers spend most of their time assisting patients and listening to their concerns.
This is a class, laboratory, and clinical component course that will prepare the student to take the Maine State Board of Nursing (MSBoN) CNA examination. The course is 180 hours spanning over 20 weeks. Most meeting days are on Saturday, with some Tuesday afternoon/evenings as well. You must attend all sessions. Our clinical partners are Norway Health and Rehabilitation Center and Bridgton Hospital.

CNA Nursing Assistant Med (CNA-Med)

Medications course follows standardized curriculum approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing. The purpose of this course is to teach experienced certified nursing assistants (CNA) to administer selected noninjectable medications to patients who are 4 years of age and older. This standardized medication course will provide the basis of understanding needed for the CNA to administer medications accurately and safely.

The highest demand is for programming languages with broad applicability. Begin by getting introduced to the basics of computer programming and various programming languages. Then go to the next level and acquire all the basics of HTML and CSS. You will learn the relationship between these two industry-standard web page coding languages and the step-by-step process of hand-coding and building web pages. Finally, discover the advanced features of CSS and learn how to use this very powerful language. Students must take the Coding Certificate classes in the below order:
