This 40-hour CRMA course includes classroom training, with clinical available after successful completion of classroom. All students must complete clinical, either with our instructor or arranged through your facility. Successful students will be certified to administer oral medications to residents in state-licensed assisted living facilities. Clinical component is an additional $125 if done with MCST instructor. There are funding opportunities available for this class.

Is Pickleball for you? Join us for the basics for those new to the game and absolute beginners. Learn the rules of scoring, court basics, the non-volley zone, common terms, faults, hot tips, and serving–the most significant difference from tennis.

Registration closes 7/30; no refunds, credits, or transfers after registration closes or if class runs on scheduled rain date.

Students will be notified, via text, of weather postponements the morning of class. Rain date 8/10.

Bring a pickleball paddle, 2 balls marked with your name (approx. $15-$40 on Amazon), and water. Wear weather-appropriate activewear, tennis shoes.

Andra Yanchenko specializes in fitness, functional movement, and racquet sports. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Health Coach, USTA, USPTA, PTR Coach, and YogaFit Instructor.

Course Outline: The CDL course consists of 42 hours of classroom and 30 hours of range and road driving instruction. It is expected that students will complete all of their required drive time and received CDL licensure in approximately 3-4 months. 

Late Summer 2025 CDL Class B Licensure Program: We are now taking reservations for our spring 2025 CDL class-B truck driving class. In person classes will occur on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5-9:00pm.

Regular CDL class dates are: August 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 and September 2, 4, 9, 11. In addition to the regular CDL class dates, those planning to obtain their school bus/passenger endorsement must also attend August 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 8am-1:00 pm. The hazmat endorsement training date is TBD.

CDL Drive Time: Drive time will occur M-F, 8am-5:00pm, with very limited availability on weekends. Individual student driving appointments will be arranged by instructors. All driving and classroom instruction will occur at our training facility located at 73 North Road in Readfield.

Class Registration Fee: To reserve a guaranteed spot in the spring class, you must submit a check or cash payment payable to Maranacook Adult Education and submitted to: 2250 Millard Harrison Dr., Readfield, ME 04355. Please call 207-242-8795 with any questions you may have.

Do you want to learn the differences between an Operator Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV) license and a Master 100GT license, and what experience the Coast Guard requires for each? This informational session will help answer these questions and others about the two licenses. Also discussed will be the different methods for completing the course requirements. This information session represents the Captain School Key West/Miami and is free, but please register in advance so the instructor knows how many individuals will be attending and can send login instructions.

Museum Sketchbook: Fransworth

Bring a sketchbook and pencil and join us for an afternoon of drawing in one of Maine's fabulous art museums. Forge an intimate connection with museum collections, while improving your own work by studying the techniques of the masters. Guidance and critical feedback are provided as needed. At the end of our visit, we will meet up to share our results with the group. Museum admission is included in fee. Location: Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland. Participants will meet at the museum.
