This winter we are offering two Beginning Spanish Courses. This is designed as a follow up to the Beginner classes.
This course is designed as a hands-on, conversation-oriented Spanish enrichment class with emphasis on conversational Spanish. Learn basic and common phrases used in travel situations, such as registering at a hotel, asking directions, ordering food at restaurants, bartering for souvenirs, as well as useful phrases for airports, train stations, buses and taxis.
The course will cover grammar, vocabulary and the most commonly used verbs in Spanish. A great option for folks preparing for a trip to a Spanish speaking country or for people wanting to connect with Spanish speaking neighbors or customers!
We will use the book Easy Spanish Step-by-Step by Barbara Bregstein (new or used copies may be purchased on Amazon) continuing on where the beginning classes ended. This is an in-person class.
