Northstar Digital Literacy defines basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online. Online, self-guided modules assess the ability of individuals to perform tasks based on these skills.
Included are basic computer digital literacy standards and modules in three main areas:
Essential Computer Skills - Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, Using Email, Windows OS, Mac OS
Essential Software Skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs
Using Technology in Daily Life - Social Media, Information Literacy, Career Search Skills, Accessing Telehealth Appointments, Supporting K-12 Distance Learning, Your Digital Footprint

Evening Indoor Walking Program
with Thomas Nash, Windham/Raymond Adult Education
Are you looking for a dry, safe, and well-lit place to walk? Join us for a healthy way to keep fit. A walking clinic will kick off the program providing information on techniques, proper stretching, goal setting, and record keeping. Info night for new participants is Tuesday, 1/16 from 5:30-6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. No need to attend if you have previously participated in the walking program. Families are welcome to walk from 3:00-8:00 pm after the intro night. The nominal fee covers the entire semester! Kids are free.

Basic Computer Skills - Digital Literacy Micro Credentials

Art 1-Foundations of Art W24
with Elizabeth Johnson, Augusta Adult and Community Education
Foundations of Art is designed to meet the fine arts requirement for AACE high school diploma students. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the elements of art and the principles of design as well as art history and criticism. Students will explore basic art media and techniques, such as drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and sculpture! Students will attend class once per week as well as complete a weekly project outside of class.
This class is a prerequisite for Art 2.
