Keeping Naloxone (Narcan nasal spray) on hand can help save a life. Having a kit nearby could help a friend, family member, or someone in the community in the event of an emergency. This Narcan administration training will guide you through how to use Narcan, as well as helpful information on opioids and how Narcan interacts with these substances. This training is free, on behalf of Healthy Lincoln County, a tier two distributor of Narcan in the State of Maine. Upon completion of this training, you will receive one kit, with two doses of Narcan, to add to your first aid kit or AED box. Additionally, you will receive supplemental resources to have on hand should you want to review what was discussed in the live training event.

Strengthen and deepen your Tai Chi practice by expanding your basic exercises while putting moves together to create a form. Some meditation practices may be included to aid further relaxation, stress reduction, and pain management. Wear loose-fitting clothing and comfortable shoes. Must have completed Tai Chi I or have approval from the instructor to attend. Laurie has been practicing Yang-style Tai Chi & Qigong for 14 years.  Tai Chi has become her passion, and she finds it to be a perfect exercise that encompasses balance, relaxation, focus, strength, stretching, cognitive stimulation, and discipline. Have you always wanted to know how to do it yourself? Join Robin to learn how. The result will be a beautiful chair you can be proud of.

Students will need to email the instructor with the size of the chair with measurements of distance between holes. This allows her to know what size and length of material you will need for your chair. She will need this information two weeks prior (Mar. 18) to the start of class so she can order the appropriate materials.

Robin will teach several steps in class. She will then give instructions for you to do at home. A five-page booklet will be provided. She will also give support through email. A supply list will be included on your registration receipt. No Class Apr. 22.

From audio books to advertisements and beyond, we encounter recorded voices everywhere! In this one-night, live online class, your instructor will take you behind-the-scenes in the voice over field for a fun and realistic look at how the voice over field really works.  You’ll gain an inside perspective on developing skills, and how to leverage your voice's strengths and interests, and more.  Because this class is live, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions!  Additionally, there will be a chance for a one on one script read with the instructor at the end of the class.
