Botanical Resin Jewelry Making

In this class, you will work with UV resin to create beautiful, handmade jewelry. There will be many options of supplies to work with- colors to add, pressed flowers and greenery, and more! We will be working on earrings and necklaces. You can choose the shape, style, and hardware. Get ready to have fun making your own custom jewelry! This is a beginner class, no experience is needed.
Drawing Nature Up Close

As a Gray Whale Census Biologist and Biological Illustrator I look closely, observe, and transfer what I see onto a two-dimensional surface. The more we look deeply, the more we notice, the more information we can transfer and express. Apply the Elements, Line, Shape, Value, and Texture to Draw what you see. Use a magnified glass and your power of observation to draw natural objects.

Introduction to Spanish I

Whether it's for travel, work, Spanish-speaking friends/family, the music, or just a new challenge, there are many reasons to start learning Spanish. What's yours? In this fun, interactive class, you’ll learn basic Spanish, understand the eight ways it differs from English, and start reading, writing, listening, and speaking on Day #1. Subject matter will be tailored to your interests and goals. Having a dinnertime class on “Taco Tuesdays” means you’re encouraged to bring one! Class meets for 4 weeks, April 1, 8, 15, and 29, with April 22 off for spring break. Bring your pen & paper or digital note-taking materials.
Needle Felting for Beginners: Gnomes

Come learn the basics of needle felting and make an adorable gnome approximately six inches tall that will fit in the palm of your hand! This course is designed for beginners but experienced needle felters are welcome. Fiber color options will be available to choose from, so you can customize your gnome to your liking. All materials will be provided. Materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class—cash or check. Storm make-up date will be April 8, please mark your calendar just in case. Limit 10 students; ages 14+ welcome.
Stained Glass Studio Session II

This is an open studio option for beginners who would like to hone their skills or for more confident makers who would like to have the opportunity to work on a larger piece with the company of fellow makers.
