Challenging Negative Attitudes

Take Control of Pessimistic Perspectives and Stressful Situations. Learn to adjust your own attitude, handle negative situations and people, compare pessimism and optimism, cope with negativity from change and challenge negative organizational norms. Optional Book $50. Workshop taught by Eric Schroeder, who has been in sales, real estate and masonry heat for nearly 20 years. He has partnered with Benefits & Beyond to help other professionals in our community with their personal growth and development. Eric lives with his doting wife and energetic daughter in Bowdoin, Maine. When he's not playing with fire (masonry heaters), Eric likes lifting weights and putting them back down, helping people buy and sell real estate, traveling, taking part in church life, and drinking coffee with old and new friends. Migraine & Headache Relief Workshop

Build your self-care approach and add new tools to your toolbox for dealing with migraines and headaches. During our time together. We will cover prevention tips, and learn a few home remedies, and trigger points to help with relief. Discuss the benefits of heat/ice, and practice a combination of stretches and massage techniques to release tension and increase blood flow to the head and neck.

"This fun and dynamic class offers strength, mobility, and balance for all fitness levels. Modifications can be made as well as additional advanced H - postures for a full body workout. A Yoga-Pilates fusion class that includes a warm-up, standing and mat exercises, breathing and ends with relaxation. Please bring your own mat if you would like to get down on the floor. Props and accessories are provided by the instructor." This is a 6 week long class.

Neck and Shoulders Workshop

Have tension in your neck and shoulders? This workshop will offer you some poses and exercises that will help to relieve some of your tension and will teach you many techniques that can be used at home or work to reduce pain and tension. These skills and poses can be repeated daily. All levels are welcome.

Ferment This! Kombucha

You could buy a $4 bottle of kombucha, or you could make your own for pennies. It's simply sweetened black or green tea with a culture added and allowed to ferment. We''ll make both a primary and a secondary ferment with your favorite fruit/juice (yum! Blueberry kombucha!)
