Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It connects you to universal energy and opens pathways in your body. A Reiki circle is a more relaxed way of learning about Reiki and how it might benefit you. If you are already familiar, it?s a great chance to come together, support each other and enjoy that positive energy!

A healthy core is dynamic and integrates the entire trunk with the arms and legs.  It isn’t about having abs of steel, a flat belly or suffering.  

Instructor: Betsy Anderson is a Physical Therapist, Feldenkrais Practitioner, Arvigo Practitioner and Innate Traditions Postpartum Care Provider with extensive wellness and movement training, using these skills to empower women to take charge of their physical well-being.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:  Women who are able to get on and off the floor.  Also suitable for new mothers at least eight weeks after delivery with the blessing of their birth provider. 

Please bring a yoga or floor mat and pillow to be comfortable laying on the floor.  

In this one-night training, learn the essentials of recognizing respiratory and cardiac arrest and effectively beginning emergency treatment.  Participants will learn CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Upon successful completion, participants will receive an AHA CPR certification and card. Students will need to pick up and review the BLS Provider Manual prior to class so that they are prepared for an open-book test at the end of the training.  

The First Aid class includes: medical emergencies, bleeding that you can see, bleeding you cannot see, treating for shock, and how and when to call emergency services. The course cost includes a blend of powerpoint and video, instructor and practical components, and a certificate of completion. Optional workbook is available for $10 (cash please) from instructor at class.

16-week all-inclusive National Certification course with Billing Certificate.  This course provides practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field and is entirely online.  You will learn Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, Electronic Medical Records (Boot Camp), and Medical Billing.  This Certificate Program includes the CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant).  Certification exam through the National Healthcare Association (NHA) and Billing Certificate from the Academy. 

$3,200 includes National Certification, all books, fees, and resume and job assistance.

Our community is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in a child’s life. A Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) makes an impact on a child while helping them learn to grow and develop. This ONLINE training program will equip you with ways to help children who are currently on a wait list for services and will also prepare you for employment through local social services agencies.

Work at your own pace completing 12 online modules prior to attending three 4-hour live sessions, including the new ethics and boundaries training. Once the modules and live sessions are completed, you will receive links to bloodborne pathogen training and virtual First Aid & CPR training. The entire program requirements will take about 45 hours to complete. Any individual who will be 18 years of age or older upon completion of the course may register.

WHAT IS A MEDICAL OFFICE SPECIALIST - NATIONALLY CERTIFIED AS A MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CMAA) MEDICAL BILLING CERTIFICATE THROUGH AMP

A Medical Administrative Assistant is a versatile professional. The duties that are performed vary not only from office to office but even within the same office. Medical Administrative Assistants perform routine duties within the offices of many types of health professionals, including physicians, chiropractors, cardiologists and others. In addition, individuals can accomplish various jobs in the hospital environment, and some are employed by freestanding emergency centers and surgery centers.

This certification program will teach you the practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field.  This completely inclusive course consists of Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, EHR/EMR for the Medical Office and the Administrative Medical Assistant.  You will learn MedTrak electronic records system used in many medical offices.  In addition, upon completion of all courses, you will sit for your CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) Examination and CBCS (Certified Billing Specialist) through the National Health career Association and you will receive a certificate of medical billing through the Academy of Medical Professions.
