Certified Personal Trainer NASM+ AFAA Group Fitness Instructor

Children’s Behavioral Health Services are vital to Maine’s children with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health Disorders and their families. The need in our area is great!
We are excited to connect our adult education community with this wonderful ONLINE training program. This online training is Free. The training will prepare you for employment through local social services agencies and the school districts.
The program can be started at any time and finished at your own pace. You will complete 12 online modules then 3, 4-hour live sessions, including the new ethics and boundaries training.
Once the modules are completed, participants that do not already possess CPR certification will be required to complete either in-person or blended Child & Adult CPR/FA training. You can take CPR through Adult Education or Woodfords Services.
The entire training requirements will take about 45 hours. Any individual who will be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalency upon completion of the course may register.

If you work for Durgin Pines, you can earn as you learn they will pay you to take the class, therefore the call is free. If don't want to work for Durgin Pines you can pay for the class yourself it's $1250.

Walking the Halls here at Telstar is back! As the weather turns cool this fall, hunting season is upon us, and cold rain is making us put our sandals into the back of the closet, you can still get a walk in by doing laps inside the school in a safe, warm and dry place. Registering now will allow you to walk the halls ALL SCHOOL YEAR. This will be nice especially when the snow shows up. Have an injury but need to move a little per your doctors instructions? This is the place to do it.

Noble Striders
with NACE Staff, Noble Adult & Community Education
Bringing Community Together, One Step At A Time
Since 2001, we have opened our doors to welcome community members to walk our multiple indoor and outdoor walking routes throughout the Noble High School property. Indoor routes range from 1/3 to 1/2 mile. If you’re up for a challenge, you have the option of including stairs in your workout. The outdoor routes are about a mile in distance. This is a great way to get in some exercise, especially during the cold New England months. Bring a friend or come as a family. All are welcome! Not to mention, joining is FREE!
To join, just drop by the adult education office to sign in and pick up a name tag. When you're done, you just sign out and drop off your name tag. Join the fun and become a Noble Strider!
