Join us once a month for lunch in the gym! The Community Cafe is sponsored by Senior Central of the Grateful Undead on the 4th Wednesday of every month, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Parsonsfield Town Hall. KNITTING WITH THE “KNOTTY KNITTERS”

The “Knotty Knitters” is a group of fiber enthusiasts with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. The members would like to invite new individuals to join. If you’re a novice, instructional support can be arranged. If you’re a pro, this is an opportunity to pass along your knowledge. This group meets year-round except for major holidays.

CAREER EXPLORATION
with MICHAEL BURD, Franklin County Adult Education
Guided by your instructor, this class will take you on a deep-dive. You’ll research what it takes to identify and be successful in the career pathway of your choosing. From the evidence you gather you’ll then create a professional presentation in Google Slides. You will develop an understanding of how to support your findings in the context of this presentation by your effective use of images, multimedia, informational content/links and good design elements. This can be an effective portfolio component.
