Spring Running Club
with Paige Knowlton, MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education
This is an active club for students in grades 4-6. We will be working on building stamina and endurance. Our end goal will be a family 5k at the end of the season. We will always start with a warm up and end with some fun, active games and a cool down/stretch.
Spring Running Club will be held outside at TES and around the campus' of TES, TMS and LAHS.

Tai Chi
with Dianne Mros, Marshwood Adult & Community Education
Practice slow movements to help relieve tension, improve balance, and promote overall fitness. Develop breathing techniques to promote calmness and beneficial energy levels. All levels are welcome!

Strong Fit Fun

Do you want to take your fitness to the next level? This 45-minute heart pumping, non-stop workout is guaranteed to strengthen your core, increase your endurance, and improve your mental state. Engage in resistance training using dumbbells, bands, foam rollers, fit balls, medicine balls, kettle bells and more; in a spacious and welcoming environment. Plank, push-up, and squat your way to a new and improved you. Increase your energy, challenge yourself, de-stress from work, and rise to the occasion in this high-energy atmosphere. This will be the best 45 minutes of your day. Join us!
Tai Chi
with Stephanie Dellavalle, Franklin County Adult Education
Tai Chi develops flexibility, strengthens joints and muscles and promotes the integration of body, mind and spirit through working towards learning a series of slow motion martial arts movements. Proven to improve balance, lower blood pressure and help with a series of physical ailments. Class will focus on learning the 1st several movements of the short form, with nei kung, eternal spring and meditation warm ups.
Belly Dancing with Kitties - Session III
with Anne Beal, Westbrook Adult Education
Come enjoy a weekly Belly Dance class with kitties! The class will be set up as Mixed Level. It would be good to have some prior belly dance experience, but all are welcome! The space is at Meow Lounge, so there will be cats in the dance area with us during the class. There will be a variety of moves to work on for those who have more experience. Anne Beal has been teaching Belly Dance (Middle Eastern Dance) for more than 15 years. She will be hosting her class in her Meow Cat Lounge.
Yoga 101

Brings you Yoga 101 an Introduction to Yoga. Many People have curiosity about Yoga but have intimidation entering Class for the First time. We’re hoping to change that.This will be a Beginner Focused Class breaking down the ins & outs of Yoga. We’ll discuss the different styles of Yoga so you understand what kind of class suits you best.
In a Safe & Nurturing Environment you will learn to Breathe Properly. You will learn the importance of Stretching Safely & Effectively. How to calm your Nervous System. The basics of Yoga so that you leave with all the Tools to hop into any Yoga class with Confidence. Not to Mention the ability to Create your own at Home Yoga Practice.
This is for 10 classes in 10 weeks. We will meet every Wednesday starting April 3 until June 12th. We will skip April vacation week.
**Cancellation Policy** If you cancel there will be a small fee taken out to cover the fee. Cancelling 1 week before the class there will be no refund.**
