Join the Leavitt Nordic community for some outdoor ski fun! Designed for all elementary ages and ski levels! Parents are welcome! 

Get ready for Nordic skills, ski games, and lots of ski fun.  Some ski equipment can be provided.  To be held in person at the Maine Outdoor Wellness Center in Turner.

Sundays, Jan. 26, Feb. 2, Feb. 9, Feb 23, March 2, March 9th.  1-3pm at the Maine Outdoor Wellness Center in Turner

Tai Chi for Health and Balance – Part 1

Tai Chi is an enjoyable, low-impact exercise that can help you improve balance, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent falls. It is an effective exercise that is easy on the joints and good for those with arthritis and balance issues. Take this 16-session class to improve the health of your mind and body.

NACE is excited to welcome back instructor Maribel Despres and her zumba classes! 

Join Maribel at Noble High School in North Berwick, where you can take the “work” out of workout! She mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. There will be class sessions offered Monday evenings.

Bring a water bottle; wear comfortable clothes and shoes with little to no tread to reduce twisting knee joints.

ZUMBA - Session 1

The class that started the dance-fitness revolution and changed the way we look at a “workout” forever. It’s fun, effective and best of all? Made for everyone! It is a dance fitness cardio class with roots in latin rhythms. Wear sneakers and comfortable clothes, bring water and a towel. Erin has been teaching Zumba since 2014, with hundreds of students across Maine and beyond! Gentle Yoga

A slow, safe, guided practice using various props to support all students.  This class is perfect for anyone new to yoga, individuals with mobility or physical limitations, seniors, or anyone looking for a slower-paced practice. This class will focus on breath work, short meditation, light movement, and relaxation.

For the best experience please bring the following props: yoga mat, blanket, two yoga blocks, yoga strap (or dog leash, belt or tie), and a yoga bolster (or large pillow).

Gentle Beginner Hatha Yoga - 3 Week

Join us for a class in Hatha Yoga led by certified instructor, Nancy Cotty from Peace Within Yoga. Yoga is a great way to relax and improve your health and well being. The focus will be on stretching and breathing while building our strength and finding peace. All levels are welcome. Drop-ins are welcome and new students can join anytime. All equipment will be provided for you. Information learned through yoga classes and workshops should not be considered a substitute for medical advice.
