Come and have some fun and also make a great gift for someone for Mothers Day, or Fathers Day or Graduation with essential oils. These gifts will be appreciated as a thoughtful expression of caring.  Choices are: Men- shaving cream and body lotion, Shampoos and Conditioners Women- Bath Salts and body lotion, Kids- Bath Bomb and Body lotion, Baby body wash and lotion. Lab fee is 10.00  for each basket, make one or more, limit of four, this is a two night class. April 2nd and April 9th.  Lab fee is paid to the instructor.

In this course, you will find out how and where to find good care, how to cover the costs, and what opportunities there are to preserve your estate for you and your family’s benefit. Subjects will include: home care, nursing home and residential care, government programs such as Medicare and more.

Topics include: estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, gift and estate taxes, the importance of asset titling, the role of your personal representative, and how your estate plan can inadvertently affect eligibility for MaineCare-funded nursing home care, legal issues commonly faced by the elderly, including how nursing home care is paid for and choosing a financial agent. Married, single, old or young, You will learn something useful. Chip, grew up  in Boothbay Harbor and has practiced law here for 30 + years

Evening Indoor Walking Program

Information night for new participants is Monday 1/14, 5:30 - 6:30 PM in the high school cafeteria.

Are you looking for a dry, safe, and well-lit place to walk? Join us for a healthy way to keep fit. A walking clinic will kick off the program providing information on techniques, proper stretching, goal setting, and record-keeping. Information night for new participants is Monday 1/14, 5:30 - 6:30 PM in the high school cafeteria. No need to attend if you have previously participated in the walking program. Families are welcome to walk from 3:00 – 6:00 PM after the intro night. The nominal fee covers the entire semester! Kids are free. No access 1/21, 2/18, 2/19, 2/20,

2/21, 4/15, 4/16, 4/17, 4/18. Supervisor: Thomas Nash.

Lynne Longworth will work with you on a design layout for your future building project. We will start with a floor plan and layout for your dream space. You will choose between six different designs or something you create yourself. This is class that will inspire you and bring your dreams to reality. Men are welcomed (with Mother’s day right around the corner). Instructor Lynne Longworth graduated from Endicott College in Interior Design. She worked for a furniture company as a designer and at the Tiffany and Company in New York. She owned her a design business in Connecticut called Design and Restoration. Lynne has been featured on HGTV on the show “If Walls Could Talk” on restoring an 1810 Sea Captain House.

This three week course is for those new to spreadsheets, or those who currently work in Excel who would like to know the tips, tricks, and secrets of how to get the job done quickly and efficiently. We will create three different spreadsheets from the ground up, learning all of the basics of both building and editing spreadsheets. Charts and printing issues will also be addressed.
