Dog Body Language- Speaking Dog

with Jessica Greenleaf, MSAD #11 Adult Education

Calendar Mar 26, 2020 at 6 pm

Your dog is talking to you – are you listening? Learning your dog’s language will help you recognize when your dog is nervous, stressed, or becoming uncomfortable. Often, we do not understand these signals and therefore are unable to intervene when needed and prevent over arousal, fights, and/or bites. We’ll discuss dog body language as well as appropriate greetings and play. Come find out what your dog has been trying to tell you. This class is for humans only. Please leave your dog at home.

Essential Oils and CBD 101 (A Make and Take Class)

Maybe you’ve been hearing about essential oils, including CBD oil, and are curious, or maybe you just like finding ways to make gifts for others and to make things for your own use at home.  Learn about essential oils, how they’re made, and all the ways they can be used, from making our houses smell good to replacing health and beauty products (and less expensive, too!) to supporting our physical and emotional health. And, since CBD is an essential oil in its own right, we’ll give you the skinny on that, too. You’ll get to make a couple goodies, along with the recipes to make more.  These are easy to make and are great to use yourself and to give as gifts for teachers, friends, family…  We’ll be making sugar scrubs (for that winter dry skin) and room/linen sprays.
