Hospice Myths Debunked: Hospice Offers More Than You Think

Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County invite you to a free informational session surrounding the common myths about hospice care, while also sharing information about how hospice services go far beyond what many people realize. Hospice Volunteer services available to individuals and families will be explained with the goal of serving patients and their families earlier in their journeys. Additionally, we will provide information about other services Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County provides such as assistance with Advance Care Directives and bereavement support for families before and after their loved ones have died. We encourage you to attend this informational session that will extend beyond the myths and confusion surrounding this topic. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
Three Hours and Thirteen Types of Yeast Rolls

Amazing but true! People will admire all the typesof rolls that you will be able to make after just this three hourclass. You will also get to make a savory braid that is bothdelicious and lovely to look at! Basic preparation of breaddough will be covered. Class will be part demonstration andpart participation. Generous samples of the caramel pecanrolls, savory braid and all the rest will be given to eachparticipant. Students will take home white and whole wheatdough to bake at home later.

Instructor, Debra Arter has won many awards for her baking in summer fairs and taught this class many times. She started baking bread when she was 9. Join in the fun and go home full and comforted. Bring covered tubs to take home dough.

It's an opportunity to explore who you are and where you want to be, using skills to enjoy your journey with health, energy healing, health and wellness, self-care, environmental and lifestyle skills and solutions.
As a practitioner, educator, coach and consultant, Barbara has been leading workshops and facilitation individual sessions in personal enrichment, energy healing, helath and wellness, self-care, environmental and lifestyle skills and solutions for 30 years. She is passionate about living joyfully and making a difference.
Character Design for Cartooning and Illustrating-Hampden

Learn about creating living, entertaining and fun characters in this 4-week class! We will cover drawing, inking, communicating, composition, shapes and lines in this course, designed to challenge you as an illustrator and cartoonist. We will cover ideas such as finding your personal style, creating believable characters and much more! Come in with your ideas and see them come to life in this exciting class. You will walk away more confident and skilled in creating living characters on a page.

Coloring Just for Fun!

Join us for a weekly adult coloring session. Coloring has been shown to reduce stress.

CPR - Section II
with Charissa Kerr, Windham/Raymond Adult Education
CPR class includes: using adult, child and infant CPR and AED; handling adult, child and infant choking; and knowing when to call emergency services. The course cost includes use of the manikins, DVD, instructor and practical components, and a certificate of completion. This class is taught to the standards established by the American Heart Association.
