Robin's Zumba® classes have been running strong for over 17 years through the Wells Ogunquit Adult Ed. Zumba® is dance exercise for people who don't consider themselves dancers but love to dance. The hour flies by and you will get a great workout. Robin uses fun, high energy music and the moves are basic and repeated enough times so that you really know them. Plus one of the best things about Zumba® is the emphasis on modifying the moves to make them your own.  Questions about the class? This intermediate class will explore the vast variety of yoga poses based in Anusara yoga. Anusara is a modern form  of Hatha yoga that is heart-focused and alignment-based.  Hatha yoga means the yoga of force. Please bring a mat,  block, strap and blanket to class.

 Join us for a fun, no pressure knitting experience! This 6-week knitting class is great for not only beginners, but for anyone who may be a little rusty. You'll learn how to cast on, master the basic and purl stitches, learn some tips and tricks on repairing mistakes, and learn how to read a pattern! Vicky is a passionate knitter and always makes classes fun for her students. 

Materials to bring to class: 
• Size 7 Knitting Needles
• 1 pair of small scissors
• Tape measure
• 1 light color Supersaver Red Heart Yarn (7 Ounces)

Learn and practice a variety of techniques and approaches  specific to watercolor painting. Whether a beginner or experienced, enjoy a relaxing and supportive environment to  paint from references, still life objects and observation. You  will receive feedback and see what others are working on.  Bring ideas for projects to class for instruction tailored to  your needs, or participate in guided exercises to gain a deeper  understanding of this medium. You may bring your own  supplies, if you prefer to purchase your own supplies, please  request a materials list at registration.

We will explore three variations of the accordion artist book, the Simple, Window & Pamphlet Accordions. These books include three different text & cover techniques. We will also touch on the basics of book binding vocabulary & where the accordion book structures came from historically. Tools & materials provided. This Course is designed to teach passengers what to do if the boat operator becomes injured, unconscious, or unable to operate the vessel. A hands-on safety course that prepares you to take control of the boat in an emergency – even if you have never driven one before. Topics covered: Control of the boat, Navigation safety, Communications and signal for help, emergency response basics and docking and anchoring. INSTRUCTOR: Members of the USCG Auxiliary FL-24

Create beautiful landscapes from batik and cotton fabric scraps and embellishments. You do not need an expensive pattern or a kit to make this wall-hanging that you will want to frame. Techniques taught are based on Karen Eckmeier’s original book: “Accidental Landscapes, Surprisingly Simple Quilted Scenes”.
