with Adriaan Gerber, Ellsworth Adult Education

Calendar Apr 28, 2019 at 9 am, runs for 2 weeks

All knives are made from raw materials, ensuring a level of craftsmanship that only handmade articles can have. No previous experience necessary. Please bring leather gloves and eye protection, as well as a bag lunch and drink. There is a $25.00 material fee payable to the instructor at the first class. Makeup class (if needed) 05/12/19.

Adriaan Gerber is a knife maker from Ellsworth who has been making sharp, pointy things for a decade. Before that, he was a software consultant at Boston University. He believes that forging objects from steel is simply the coolest thing you will ever learn.

Directions will be sent to students upon registering.
