This interval training class offers three essential fitness components: cardio, strength training, and stretching to release tension. Participants will engage in interval training, essential for calorie burning and weight loss. Students will engage in multiple actions for short bursts. The instructor will contact students with Zoom link and payment information. Online Registration is not available for this course. It may be subject to certain prerequisites or inventory requirements. Raising Your Own Meat

If you’ve ever considered raising your own meat, get a crash course on raising pigs and poultry! Many of the tips can be used for other animals as well. You’ll learn about different options for processing the meat - whether to use a commercial butchery or to do the processing yourself. Both ways have been used by the instructors and they will talk about the nitty gritty of processing your own animals and the supplies you would need.

The location is in-person at the Anderson Learning Center in Springvale, unless school is closed, then it will be a remote class.

There is a mountain of research in western medicine confirming the value of a regular practice of improved breathing for many health conditions, and even more benefits in combination with these movements. Ba Duan Jin, Swimming Dragon & Wu Ming Qigongs wil be introduced.

This is a 5 week series for Intermediate/Advanced students with assignments and sharing their work. You are comfortable with your camera and you want more! In this class we will explore the use of intermediate camera controls such as metering (spot, matrix, center weight), exposure and exposure compensation, ISO, aperture and shutter priority. We will take an in-depth look at manual focus and its use, fill flash and flash modes, as well as controlling motion, composition, and many other intermediate and advanced techniques. You should be familiar with your camera (also, bring your camera manual to class) and be ready for some in-depth photographic training.
