Adventure Marketplace is excited to welcome you to join us on our annual winter adventure to Quebec City's Winter Carnival (Carnival de Québec). Departing from Portland and points north, we will spend 3 nights at the iconic Chateau Frontenac. Wander through the winter wonderland of North America’s beautiful, oldest and most European city. Enjoy live music, ice bars, fine restaurants, a parade and ice boat races during one of the world’s largest winter carnivals! Maine Munchies: Make Your Own Potato Candy

Get hands-on with Needhams, an iconic Maine candy made from our state's top crop - potatoes! Learn the story behind this tasty treat, while whipping up a batch of your own with potatoes grown right here in Maine. In addition to learning the original and classic recipe, participants will learn easy ways to customize their potato candy with non-traditional mix-ins and flavors. Each student will leave with potato candy recipes and their own batch of handmade Needhams to share with family and friends for Valentine’s day! Taught by Liz Gross, Presented by Maine Tasting Center.
Introduction to Crystals

Welcome to 'Paint Your Partner Night,' where we take the phrase 'getting under someone's skin' to a whole new level! In this class, you'll learn the art of artistic collaboration and possibly a bit about your partner's hidden talents... or lack thereof. Get ready to brush away those relationship cobwebs as you and your significant other (or unwitting victim, depending on how you see it) embark on a colorful journey of mutual creation. No prior painting experience necessary—just a willingness to laugh at your mistakes and each other's questionable artistic choices. Whether you end up with a masterpiece or a mess, one thing's for sure: you'll have a hilarious story to tell and a canvas full of memories. Canvas and paints are supplied. *Price is per couple/pair.

Cross Country & Snowshoe Trip to Jackson, NH Touring Center

The “Foundation” maintains 150 km of trails that are considered by many to be the finest cross-country ski trails in the Eastern United States. Jackson Ski Touring Foundation presents state of the art grooming on trails designed to suit every taste and ability, whether you prefer quiet striding through old growth, New England forest, or all out skate skiing. You can visit on-trail destinations: the warming cabin and Cocoa Cabin on the Ellis River Trail. We will arrive to have a full day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing. You may bring your own equipment or rent at the touring center. Before heading back, we will dine at one of the fine local restaurants. This trip will enrich lives and promote a healthy lifestyle. Rental fees and food expenses are participant’s responsibility. Maximum of 8 may participate on this trip.
